The Villamor Emergency Response Group extends its commitment to service by providing medical assistance during the Patrol Leader Training Course (PLTC) and Crew Leader Training Course (CLTC) conducted on September 19–21, 2025, at Villamor Air Base Elementary School (VABES) and Pasay City South High School.

We take pride in fulfilling our duty to safeguard the health and well-being of all participants throughout the duration of the activity.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Araw ng mga Bayani, inaalala natin ang mga dakilang Pilipino na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay at talino upang makamtan natin ang kalayaan at dignidad bilang isang bansa. Ngunit ang kabayanihan ay hindi natatapos sa mga pahina ng kasaysayan—ito’y patuloy na naipapakita sa ating panahon sa pamamagitan ng mga makabagong bayani na walang sawang naglilingkod, nagsasakripisyo, at tumutulong para sa kapakanan ng iba. Sila ang nagbibigay inspirasyon at pag-asa, at nagpapaalala sa atin na ang tunay na diwa ng pagiging bayani ay ang handang magbigay ng sarili para sa kapakanan ng nakararami. Mabuhay ang lahat ng ating mga bayani, noon at ngayon.

Psychological First Aid for Flood Evacuees: Caring for Minds, Uplifting Spirits

In the midst of calamity, we stand not just to provide assistance, but also emotional support. Through our Psychological First Aider, together with our Barangay officials, our volunteers ensure that evacuees receive care, comfort, and a sense of hope. 💙🧠🌧️

“Doxycycline and hot meals Distribution Amid the Flood: United Efforts of Barangay Officials and Volunteers”

In response to recent flooding, we joined the Barangay officials and dedicated volunteers to distribute doxycycline to affected residents, ensuring timely health protection for the community. Saludo sa malasakit at bayanihan! 💙🌧️💊

🧠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞: 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 🧠

On June 28, 2025, the 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 (𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆) once again stood at the forefront of community empowerment—this time focusing on mental and emotional resilience. VERG proudly participated in the Psychological First Aid (PFA) Seminar led by esteemed speaker Mr. Gab Reinoso, a passionate mental health advocate.

This initiative was a project of Barangay 183, thru the initiative of Hon. Jonathan Ceasar D. Santos, Committee Head of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM). His proactive leadership continues to strengthen the barangay’s commitment to preparedness—not just in emergencies, but in supporting the holistic well-being of the community.

The seminar equipped participants with the knowledge and empathy to respond to individuals in distress, providing calm, comfort, and connection when it’s needed most. From recognizing signs of trauma to practicing non-judgmental listening, it emphasized the crucial role of psychological support in times of crisis. 🫂🧩

𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆 remains committed to holistic emergency response—not just saving lives but supporting them in every way possible. Because in times of uncertainty, mental first aid is just as crucial as physical care.
