Ang ating watawat ay sumisimbolo hindi lamang ng kasaysayan at dangal ng bansa, kundi ng pananagutang maglingkod nang tapat at makabansa. Sa larangan ng lokal na pamamahala, naipapakita ang tunay na diwa nito sa pamamagitan ng maayos na pamamahala, at pagkilos para sa kapakanan ng mamamayan.

๐๐ข๐ข๐ | The Local Government Academy (LGA) convened its Board of Trustees (BOT) for a meeting on May 26, 2026 at the LGA Office to discuss key developments, accomplishments, and future directions of the Academy. Among the topics discussed were the Academyโs F.Y. 2025 accomplishments, F.Y. 2026 programs and projects, proposed F.Y. 2027 programs and projects, the proposed 2026โ2031 Strategic Plan, and the status of the LGATC Modernization Project, highlighting the BOT's role in providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure that the LGA remains responsive to the evolving needs of local governance.

Today, they officially begin Module 3: Facilitating Learning for Local Governance, where they will further enhance their facilitation and learning management competencies in support of effective local governance.

๐๐ข๐ข๐ | The LGA successfully conducted the learning course โMatino, Mahusay at Maaasahan: A Course on the DILGโs Culture of Service (Batch 3)โ held from May 5โ7, 2026 at the DILG Central Office, participated in by Section Heads and Division Chiefs.
The three-day activity strengthened the Departmentโs commitment to a values-driven, people-centered, and service-oriented culture anchored on the DILG core values of ๐ฎ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐ฐ, ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฉ๐ถ๐ด๐ข๐บ, ๐ข๐ต ๐ฎ๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ด๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ.
