Bilang suporta sa edukasyon ng ating mga mag-aaral, magsasagawa ang Barangay Kapitolyo ng School Supplies Distribution Program sa:

• Dalhin ang lumang school ID para sa student identification at verification.

• Tanging mga estudyanteng nakapagparehistro sa Barangay o sa mga itinalagang coordinators sa interior areas ang maaaring kumuha ng school supplies.

• Para sa mga hindi makakadalo sa araw ng distribusyon, maaaring magtungo sa Barangay Secretary's Office na matatagpuan sa 2nd floor ng barangay hall upang kunin ang kanilang school supplies sa susunod na mga araw.

Patuloy nating suportahan ang ating mga kabataan sa kanilang pagbabalik-eskwela. Sama-sama para sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan!

2. Resolution No. 31 Series of 2026: A Resolution Establishing the Fitserbisyo Health Awareness Contest for Barangay Employees of Barangay Kapitolyo to Promote Health, Wellness, and Active Participation in the Workplace (Sponsored by: Kag. Milagros A. Laigo)

Third Reading:

1. Resolution No. 28, 2026: A Resolution Formally Establishing the Barangay Kapitolyo Drum and Lyre Team, Providing for Its Management, and Allocating Funds Thereof (Sponsored by: Kag. Joanna Marie B. Pajara)

📢 Punong Brgy’s Report:

1. Leaning Meralco posts have been replaced to improve public safety and prevent possible hazards within the community.

2. Clogged drainage systems have been cleaned and cleared, while monitoring efforts have been strengthened through regular inspections and the issuance of tickets to individuals caught illegally dumping waste.

3. Continuous beautification and renovation projects are ongoing, including the improvement of flooring at the multipurpose hall, upgrading of comfort room facilities, and the development of the walkway and play area along Interior Rosemarie Lane.

4. Allowances for public daycare teachers, Barangay Nutritionists, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars have been approved. This was made possible through the increase in this year’s budget, with a continued focus on expanding benefits for barangay employees and community social workers. Plans are also being prepared to extend similar assistance to Pasig Health Aides and city sweepers.

5. Significant improvement has been observed in the attendance record of barangay employees, particularly in reducing tardiness, unapproved leaves, and absences. This was achieved through stricter monitoring, proper documentation, and the implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), including disciplinary measures for employees who fail to follow proper leave procedures.

6. Operations for the capture of stray dogs are now being actively implemented. Residents may report unwanted or nuisance strays, and appropriate action will be taken accordingly. Captured animals will be kept within the barangay premises for three days to allow owners the opportunity to reclaim them. If left unclaimed, the animals will then be turned over to the Pasig City Dog Pound.

7. The official Barangay Kapitolyo Drum and Lyre Team has now been formally established. Composed of around 30 youth participants, primarily students from Kapitolyo High School, the team proudly represents our community. The barangay aims to continuously develop and institutionalize the program for the years ahead, with plans to add majorettes and muses by next year.

8. The barangay has launched its first-ever health and wellness program, “Fit Serbisyo,” participated in by barangay employees who aspire to improve their overall health and well-being. The program promotes discipline, healthy habits, and proper nutrition through incentives and continuous learning, with plans to eventually extend the initiative to families throughout the community.

TRAFFIC UPDATE

The westbound lane of Shaw Blvd. (near Barangay Arc) in Brgy. San Antonio is NOW PASSABLE to vehicles.

However, clearing of the spilled flour is still ongoing.

As of 02:30PM, the overturned trailer truck has been removed from the site.

Heavy traffic is currently being experienced going to EDSA Shaw due to an overturned truck.

Traffic is particularly affected along Shaw Blvd. (Brgy. San Antonio side) going to Mandaluyong.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 as of 1:00 PM

As per TPMO, the area will be temporarily closed to allow the overturned truck to be lifted and cleared.

Motorists going to EDSA Mandaluyong will be diverted to Pioneer Street and United St. (Unilab).

Please be advised of scheduled maintenance activities by Meralco along a portion of Shaw Blvd. near West Capitol Drive and Marie Lane St., Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig City.

The maintenance works include replacement of RCLS 43VD15, reconductoring and other line rehabilitation activities to help prevent unnecessary trouble or pole-down incidents and improve the reliability of the electric system in the area.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take alternate routes and exercise caution while the activities are ongoing.

Rest assured that necessary safety measures will be undertaken during the construction activities to ensure the safety of affected motorists and pedestrians.
