𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦// Personnel of BFP Pateros conducted a Fire Safety on Demand activity during the Basic Food Safety Seminar for Food Handlers held at the Sanitation Office, Municipal Hall of Pateros.

The activity gathered food handlers from various establishments within the municipality and provided them with essential knowledge on basic workplace fire safety, fire prevention measures, and emergency preparedness.

Participants were also oriented on the proper use of portable fire extinguishers, including their appropriate application during the incipient stage of a fire.

Considering the nature of food preparation and kitchen operations, emphasis was given to identifying common fire hazards in the workplace, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring a safe working environment for both employees and customers.

Through this initiative, BFP Pateros continues to strengthen fire safety awareness among workers and business establishments, promoting a culture of prevention and preparedness within the community.

The personnel of Pateros Central Fire Station and Sta. Ana Fire Sub-Station begin their day with a structured morning physical exercise routine. This daily activity plays a vital role in maintaining their overall readiness, as it helps strengthen their physical fitness, improve endurance, and build the agility required for emergency response.

Beyond the physical benefits, the exercise also reduces stress, boosts morale, and fosters stronger teamwork—qualities that are essential in high-pressure situations faced by firefighters.

Regular exercise sessions also serve as an opportunity to monitor each personnel’s health and well-being, ensuring they remain in peak condition to fulfill their duties and uphold the highest standard of service at the Pateros Municipal Fire Station.
