The MSSD–Sulu Field Office and Bahay Pag-asa (Baytul Yah'Mal) proudly congratulate Sheikh Engr. Hagmier L. Jairan, LPT, RMP, Sh.L., President of the Islamic Studies for Filipino Youth Academy (ISFY Academy), for successfully passing the May 2026 Special Shari'ah Bar Examinations.

This remarkable achievement reflects his dedication to Islamic scholarship, education, and service to the community. We likewise express our heartfelt appreciation to Sheikh Engr. Hagmier L. Jairan and the ISFY Academy Team for their invaluable contributions in conducting Islamic Learning Activities, Naseehah Sessions, and Values Formation Programs for the residents of Bahay Pag-asa (Baytul Yah'Mal), fostering their spiritual growth and positive transformation.

Under the leadership of Acting Provincial Social Welfare Officer Ms. Suraya C. Kuhutan, RSW, together with Administrative Officer Ma'am Nurun-Nizah K. Buong pagmamalaking binabati ng MSSD si Director General, Atty. Mohammad Muktadir A. Estrella, sa pagkamit ng Top 6 sa katatapos lang na 2026 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations.

DG Mo, sa kahit anong larangan ka man napapadpad, palagi mong ipinapakita ang natatangi mong kahusayan. Ang tagumpay mong ito ay muling nagpapatunay na walang limitasyon ang kakayahan — isang paalaala na hindi tayo dapat humihinto sa pagkatuto at paglago.

Kayo ay nagsisilbing inspirasyon sa aming lahat. Ang inyong walang-pagod na dedikasyon sa pag-aaral ang nagtutulak sa amin na lalo pang paghusayan ang aming mga sarili. Dahil sa inyong ehemplo, mas nagiging bukas ang aming isipan na unawain ang mga hamon ng lipunan, upang mas maging epektibo at tapat kaming mga manggagawa ng MSSD.

Salamat sa pagiging isang pinuno na parating bukas sa lahat ng pananaw at may pusong tunay na nagmamahal sa Bangsamoro. Ang inyong karagdagang kaalaman sa Shari'ah ay tiyak na magiging matibay na sandata upang mas mapaglingkuran at maipagtanggol pa natin ang karapatan at kapakanan ng bawat Bangsamoro.

LOOK | On May 1, 2026, an Islamic learning activity was successfully conducted at the MSSD Child and Youth Center (Baytul Yah'Mal) for its residents. The activity was initiated by the MSSD–Sulu Field Office under the leadership of Acting Provincial Social Welfare Officer, Ms. Suraya C. Kuhutan, RSW, in collaboration with the Islamic Studies for Filipino Youth Academy (ISFY Academy), headed by its President, Sheikh Engr. Hagmier L. Jairan, LPT.

The learning session was facilitated by Engr. Jairan together with his team, who shared Islamic teachings and Naseehah, while also guiding the residents in the proper reading and pronunciation of the Arabic alphabet to strengthen their understanding of Islam and improve their Qur’an reading skills.

Through interactive teaching and meaningful engagement, the activity became both educational and spiritually enriching for the residents.

As part of the center’s continuing commitment to the spiritual and moral development of its residents, the program will now be conducted every Friday.

The Center Head of Bahay Pag-asa (Baytul Yah'Mal), Indah-Ittah H. Hassan, RSW, conveyed her sincere appreciation to the Islamic Studies for Filipino Youth Academy (ISFY Academy) and all individuals who contributed to the success of the activity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported this meaningful initiative for the spiritual growth and positive transformation of our residents.

𝟰𝟯𝟴 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗹, 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗴-𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽

SULU — Isang mahalagang yugto sa edukasyon ang ipinagdiwang ng 438 daycare learners mula sa 29 na Child Development Centers (CDCs) sa bayan ng Patikul matapos ang kanilang matagumpay na moving-up ceremony nitong Marso 25, 2026.

Ginanap ang aktibidad sa Imbitheya Covered Court sa Barangay Tandu Bagua, sa ilalim ng temang "Batang Bangsamoro: Simbolo ng Pag-asa, Hinuhubog ang Pangarap para sa mas Matatag na Bukas."

Sa pangangasiwa ng MSSD Patikul Unit Office, bawat completer ay ginawaran ng diploma bilang pagkilala sa kanilang pagsisikap at tagumpay sa unang yugto ng kanilang pag-aaral.

Ang seremonya ay nagsilbing patunay sa matibay na pundasyon ng kaalaman na binuo sa loob ng mga CDCs.

Binigyang-diin sa programa ang krusyal na papel ng maagang edukasyon sa pag-unlad ng mga bata. Kinilala rin ang dedikasyon ng mga magulang at ang sakripisyo ng mga Child Development Workers (CDWs) na nagsilbing gabay at katuwang ng pamahalaan sa paghubog ng mga susunod na lider ng Bangsamoro.

Ang MSSD, sa pakikipagtulungan sa komunidad, ay nagsusumikap na matiyak na ang bawat bata ay may maayos na paghahanda para sa susunod na antas ng kanilang edukasyon. (𝗛𝗠𝗔/𝗜𝗖𝗗)

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) – Sulu Field Office, in collaboration with the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) Region IX, conducted an informative and engaging activity on March 26, 2026, at the Child and Youth Center – Bahay Pag-Asa.

The activity gathered Bahay Pag-Asa (BPA) staff, Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL), and their families to promote awareness of women’s rights and gender equality. It aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of the importance of protecting and upholding the rights of women in society.

The program featured discussions on the Magna Carta of Women and Gender and Development (GAD), highlighting key concepts on women’s empowerment, gender sensitivity, and inclusivity. Interactive sessions were also conducted to encourage participation and deepen the participants’ appreciation of gender-related issues.

The event was attended by representatives from the provincial social welfare office and Bahay Pag-Asa personnel, demonstrating continued support for initiatives that promote a gender-responsive environment.

Through this activity, MSSD and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to advocating for a more inclusive and gender-responsive community.

"SULU BAHAY PAG-ASA | DECEMBER 19, 2025

The YEAR END PARTY with the residents of BAHAY PAG-ASA was successfully conducted through the joint efforts of the BETA SIGMA FRATERNITY - SULU ASSEMBLY and SIGMA BETA SORORITY, under the leadership of their President, Engr. JAL JIMLAN.

Sincere appreciation is extended to the Provincial Social Welfare Officer (PSWO) Hja. IMELDA P. KANGILUHAN, RSW, of MSSD-SULU, and Administrative Officer V, NURUN-NIZAH K. JIMLAN, MPA. Your kindness and support bring hope,smiles and inspiration to our residents.

The activity brought joy to the children through gift-giving and shared moments of happiness.
