The 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰 𝟭𝟮-𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 basketball team completed a flawless campaign in the 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, emerging as back-to-back champions after defeating Purok 1 Domino in the finals. From the eliminations to the semifinals and all the way to the championship, Pandac remained undefeated, proving their dominance on the hardcourt.

This victory not only marks their second consecutive title but also solidifies their reputation as a powerhouse in grassroots basketball. With unmatched teamwork, discipline, and heart, the young Pandac cagers once again brought pride to their community and raised the bar for excellence in the game.

The 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 wrapped up their 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 journey with pride after securing third place in the basketball tournament. In the battle-for-third showdown, the Cougars displayed resilience and teamwork, outlasting the Jibao-an Warriors in an intense and thrilling match.

𝗕𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 fought hard to secure 1st Place, while 𝗝𝗖𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 landed at 2nd Place after an exciting day of rallies and smashes.

More than just a tournament, the ODL aimed to promote sportsmanship, unity, and community engagement by bringing together local talents in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere.

𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — The vibrant spirit of Filipino heritage came alive at Pandac Elementary School as the youth of Pandac gathered for the much-anticipated Laro ng Lahi 2025. The event, held last Sunday at 3:00 p.m., was organized by the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 (SK) of 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰, with the valuable support of the 𝗣𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗣𝗬𝗔𝗣) 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 – 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿.

The afternoon was filled with the sights and sounds of classic Filipino games, each one sparking excitement, laughter, and healthy competition among participants. From kadang-kadang to duckpanay, the activities tested the agility, strategy, and camaraderie of the youth, reminding everyone of the joy and significance of preserving traditional play in the modern era.

According to SK Pandac officials, Laro ng Lahi aimed not only to entertain but also to foster unity, sportsmanship, and cultural appreciation among young residents. “It’s about connecting with our roots while building stronger ties within the community,” Hon. Rochele Mae Tocong, Committee Chairperson.

The PYAP Officer – Pandac Chapter played a crucial role in extending assistance to ensure the success of the event, further highlighting the collaborative spirit between youth organizations in the barangay.

As the games drew to a close, smiles and shared memories painted the faces of the participants, marking the event as more than just a competition—it was a heartfelt celebration of heritage, teamwork, and community pride.
