Demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and campus beautification, the Senior High School Department of Pigcawayan National High School successfully conducted its Tree Planting Activity on July 29, 2026.

The activity was spearheaded by Senior High School Principal for Operations Mateo Jr. Catubig, HT-III, and Senior High School Principal for Academics Haide O. Lopez, HT-I, with the full support of School Head Alejo C. Calambro, P-I. Through this initiative, every Senior High School section adopted a tree, symbolizing shared responsibility, growth, and a lasting commitment to environmental stewardship.

More than a ceremonial tree-planting activity, the initiative serves as a long-term environmental project that encourages learners to become responsible stewards of nature while helping create a greener, safer, and more sustainable school environment.

As each tree takes root and flourishes, it will stand as a living testament to the Senior High School Department’s dedication to preserving the environment and building a lasting legacy for future generations.

Together, we plant not only trees, we cultivate responsibility, unity, and hope for a greener tomorrow. 🌿

On June 26, 2026, the 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗶𝗴𝗰𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 officially inaugurated its new Hospitality and Tourism Cluster Laboratory through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking another milestone in strengthening hands-on learning for students under the Technical Professional (TechPro) Track.

The ceremony was led by Ma'am Monette D. Acuyado, MT-I, together with Sir Alejo Calambro, P-I, School Head, and Sir Mateo Jr. C. Catubig, HT-III, Assistant SHS Principal for Operations.

The new Hospitality and Tourism Cluster Laboratory, under the supervision of Ma'am Monette D. Acuyado, MT-I and Ma'am Ghierna Puno, T-I will serve as the learning facility for the following TechPro electives:

With this improved learning environment, students will have greater opportunities to develop their knowledge, creativity, technical competence, and industry-standard skills through hands-on learning experiences.

The Business Simulation 2026, with the theme “Turning Ideas into Enterprise,” officially comes to an end today, February 10, 2026.

With this, heartfelt gratitude is extended to everyone who became part of this meaningful journey. To all the students, parents/guardians and teachers who continuously supported and believed in the ABM 12 students, thank you for the time, encouragement, and trust you have given. Your support greatly contributed to the success of this simulation.

Most especially, sincere appreciation is given to the ABM teachers, Ma’am Avnette Marie Pagaduan, Ma’am Michelle Rivera, Ma’am Thelma Odimer, Ma’am Nheslyn Sareno and Ma’am Christine Ocon, for their unwavering guidance, dedication, and commitment to the students. Your lessons and mentorship went beyond the classroom and helped shape the students’ confidence, skills, and entrepreneurial mindset.

The Business Simulation was more than just an academic requirement; it became a valuable learning experience filled with challenges, teamwork, growth, and unforgettable moments. As this chapter closes, the ABM 12 students move forward equipped with knowledge, experience, and inspiration to turn ideas into real enterprises.
