DECEMBER 27, 2022 | PAYOUT OF EHAP (EMERGENCY HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM) FOR THE VICTIMS OF "TYPHOON TISOY"

In connection with the Sea Travel Advisory issued by the Headquarters Coast Guard Station Sorsogon, On behalf of Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes, Vice-Mayor Leosala (OIC Municipal Mayor) visited the Pilar Port and coordinated with the coast guard Pilar Substation headed by CG POI Joemer B. Catimbang - Coast Guard Sub-Station Commander and the porters.

A group of 1st year BEED students from SL-Pilar conducted an interview concerning the History of Pilar as reference for their school project in their subject: Readings in Philippine History.. Kudos to these future Pilareño educators!

Happy Children's Month!

In celebration of Children's Month, LGU-Pilar thru Hon. Mayor Carolyn C. Sy-Reyes and MCPC (Municipal Council for the Protection of Children) focal Person, Arnol P. Lista facilitated the Pilar Children Officials 2022 to experience public service by becoming Municipal Officials for five (5) days.

This morning, the Child Municipal Officials sat beside the Honorable Sangguniang Bayan Members during the Regular Session and were oriented of its flow and most importantly experienced the work of an SB Member.
