LOOK: Skills Training on Pili Food Processing was successfully conducted last August 22-23, 2019 at Brgy. Sacnangan, Pilar, Sorsogon.

The two-day training was participated in by 28 new and potential from Pilar, Sorsogon. Product outputs were crispy pili, pili molido, pili polvoron, mazapan de pili, pili pastillas and pili cookies.

LOOK: Pilar Negosyo Center conducted FINANCING FORUM last July 17, 2019 at Pilar Women's Center. The activity was participated by 51 from the food processing, wearables and homestyles, trading and service sectors.

The activity is one of the initiatives of the to bring closer to the the services of the government and to provide entrepreneurs access to finance.

Speakers were from the banking and microfinance industries namely People's Alternative Livelihood Microfinance Foundation of Sorsogon Inc., Agribusiness Rural Bank, Gubat St. Anthony Cooperative, Rural Bank of Donsol, Bank of the Philippine Island, Rural Bank of Pilar, SB Corporation and Bank of Makati.

The Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso Program (P3) of the government was also discussed in the activity. The program aims to provide low cost credit to to get them out of the so called 5/6 or usurious lending schemes in the locality.
