“Our officers are trained to act immediately in emergencies, and in this instance, they truly showed their commitment to public safety.

Dagdag pa niya, “This is exactly the kind of service we aim for in the Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.

PNP SRI, PEI FOR RELEASE; MUP PAY INCREASE BEGINS 2026

The Philippine National Police (PNP) announced the upcoming release of the one-time Service Recognition Incentive (SRI), Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI), and the planned salary and subsistence allowance increase for Military and Uniformed Personnel (MUP) covering Fiscal Years 2026, 2027, and 2028.

Acting Chief PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., confirmed that a total of 227,734 eligible personnel will receive the SRI for Fiscal Year 2025, amounting to a total of Php4.23 billion.

Each qualified employee will receive Php20,000, subject to applicable taxes. The payout is scheduled on December 19, 2025, following confirmation from the Land Bank of the Philippines.

“This one-time incentive is our way of recognizing the dedication and service of our personnel who continue to uphold public safety with integrity and professionalism,” said PLTGEN Nartatez. “We are grateful to our men and women in uniform and Non-Uniformed whose efforts make a real difference every day.”

The Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) shall be granted to the following personnel, Uniformed Personnel, Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP) and Cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy

Pursuant to Administrative Order No.40 by the President of the Philippines and DBM Budget Circular No. 2025-3, SRI applies to personnel in regular, contractual, or casual positions who have rendered at least four months of satisfactory service as of November 30, 2025.

Pro-rated incentives will also be granted to those with less than four months of service. Personnel with pending administrative or criminal cases are disqualified, except when the penalty is a reprimand only.

In addition, 227,925 active personnel are set to receive the Php5,000 PEI for FY 2025, a fixed, one-time incentive recognizing productivity and performance. “The PEI is a simple but meaningful way to acknowledge the extra effort of our personnel. Every task completed efficiently and effectively contributes to a stronger PNP,” PLTGEN Nartatez emphasized.

The PNP also welcomed the issuance of EO No. 107, s. 2025, which increases the base pay and subsistence allowance for MUP, including those in the AFP, BFP, BJMP, PCG, BuCor, and NAMRIA. The salary hike will be phased over three years, starting January 1, 2026, while the daily subsistence allowance will rise to Php350/day.

“Let this grant of SRI, PEI, and the upcoming salary adjustments serve as a recognition of your hard work and dedication. I hope these benefits will not only reward your service but also inspire you to continue performing with excellence, integrity, and commitment to the Filipino people,” Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Nartatez added.

The PNP assured all personnel that it will maintain close coordination with the relevant agencies to ensure the timely and orderly release of all authorized benefits.

The PNP also expressed its sincere gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for his continued support for the welfare of personnel, as part of its commitment to a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman—a police force that serves efficiently, honestly, and with care genuinely felt by the people.

“We are not just after the numbers,” ani niya. “Layunin natin na maging mas ligtas ang bawat komunidad, and this is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s vision for a secure and peaceful Philippines.”

“The PNP is serious about dismantling illegal drug networks wherever they are. And to every Filipino family, we promise to continue working for your safety,” dagdag pa ni PLTGEN Nartatez.
