The activity was attended by 37 SGLG Focal Persons from the different Local Government Units of Camarines Sur, led by the SGLG Focal Person of the Province of Camarines Sur, together with the DILG Field Officers.
In his Welcome Message, Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V, emphasized the importance of the activity in ensuring that LGUs are well-informed, prepared, and ready to meet the requirements of the CY 2026 SGLG. The Open Forum likewise provided an opportunity for LGU representatives and field officers to raise concerns, clarify requirements, and strengthen their understanding of the SGLG process.
The successful conduct of the activity reflects the continuing partnership of DILG Camarines Sur, its Field Officers, and the Local Government Units in preparing for the CY 2026 SGLG and in advancing accountable, responsive, participatory, and people-centered local governance.
