This golden celebration is not only a tribute to 50 years of the Parole and Probation Administration, it is also a celebration of the people whose dedication, teamwork, and commitment continue to keep its mission alive.

✨𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗟: 𝟱𝟬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗦, 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗦, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗖𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡✨

Among the meaningful highlights of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Parole and Probation Administration was the creation of the “Golden Wall," a symbolic space where hopes were written, wishes were shared, and heartfelt reflections were given a place to remain.

Each golden circle placed upon the wall carried a message from a client, personnel, or officer, a simple wish that, together, became part of a much bigger story: the story of an institution that has touched countless lives throughout its 50 years of service.

For every client, the moment offered something more than the act of writing a wish. It became an opportunity to pause, reflect, and quietly look back on their own journey. In those few moments of silence, they were given the space to think deeply about how Parole and Probation became a part of their lives, about the experiences that brought them to where they are today, the people who stood beside them, and the opportunities they were given to move forward.

Perhaps, behind every golden circle, there was a story that only its writer truly knew.

Some wishes may have been simple. Some may have been deeply personal. Others may have been hopes for a better future, for continued guidance, for stronger families and communities, or for a Parole and Probation Administration that will continue to reach and help those who need a chance to begin again.

Yet, despite the differences in every message, they all shared a common thread—hope.

Hope that the mission of parole and probation will continue to make a difference.
Hope that more lives will be guided toward positive change.
Hope that relationships will be restored and communities strengthened.
Hope that those who are given a second chance will find the courage to make it count.

As the Golden Wall gradually filled with golden circles, it became more than a collection of wishes. It became a reflection of the very purpose of parole and probation, a reminder that behind every case is a person, behind every person is a story, and within every story is the possibility of hope and transformation.

As the Parole and Probation Administration celebrates 50 golden years, these wishes now stand as a collective expression of gratitude for the past and hope for the future.
May the wishes written on this Golden Wall serve as a reminder that the legacy of the Parole and Probation Administration is not measured only by the years it has endured, but by the lives it has touched, the relationships it has helped restore, and the hope it continues to inspire.

And as we look toward the years ahead, may this golden wall remind us of one enduring truth:

Fifty years is not merely a measure of time. It is a measure of lives reached, relationships restored, challenges overcome, and countless stories of individuals given the opportunity to move forward.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Parole and Probation Administration, the Oriental Mindoro Province Parole and Probation Office commemorated this golden milestone through a meaningful gathering held at Sunrise Beach Resort, bringing together clients from Pola, Socorro, Pinamalayan, Gloria, Bansud, and Bongabong in a celebration that served both as a tribute to five decades of dedicated service and as a reflection of the people who continue to give meaning to the agency's mission.

The successful celebration was made possible through the leadership of 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗚. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗥𝗦𝗪, together with 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝗞𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠. 𝗔𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼, and 𝗗𝗢𝗟𝗘 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗼, and 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹, with 𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼 and 𝗖𝗗𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗮𝗼 serving as the Masters of Ceremony.

The program commenced with a prayer led by ADA Princess Helmo, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and PPA Hymn, led by ADA III Deserie Romion, and the welcoming remarks of Officer-in-Charge Cristina G. Castillo, formally opening a celebration that brought together the past, present, and continuing future of parole and probation service.

The occasion became even more meaningful with the presence of 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗦. 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲, whose message added depth and significance to the golden celebration. Her presence served as a reminder that the work of parole and probation extends beyond the walls of an office, it is a continuing commitment to public service, restorative justice, and the belief that meaningful change remains possible when individuals are given guidance, accountability, and the opportunity to move forward.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence of 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗙. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮, whose years of dedicated service form an important part of the office's history and legacy. Her message offered a meaningful glimpse into her experiences as a former CPPO, reflecting on the struggles and challenges encountered throughout her years of service, as well as the incomparable fulfillment of dedicating oneself to serving and touching the lives of countless individuals.

Her reflections made the golden celebration more than a commemoration of the past. They became a bridge connecting those who served before, those who continue to serve today, and those who will carry the mission forward in the years to come.

For the clients present, hearing the experiences of those who have devoted years of their lives to parole and probation became a meaningful reminder of the people behind the service they have encountered in their own journeys. It inspired appreciation and gratitude for the officers and personnel who continue to guide, supervise, and support them as they navigate their own paths toward positive change.

The celebration was further graced by the meaningful messages of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗩. 𝗗𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮, whose presence and continued support added significance to the occasion and highlighted the importance of collective commitment in carrying out the mission of parole and probation.

Yet, a golden celebration would not be complete without moments of joy. The solemnity of the occasion was balanced by laughter, camaraderie, and genuine fellowship as clients and personnel came together through a series of games and lively presentations. Each group of clients brought their own energy and creativity to the celebration, filling the venue with songs, dances, laughter, and moments of shared happiness.

In those moments, the celebration became a space where officers, personnel, and clients could simply come together as one community sharing joy, creating memories, and strengthening the relationships that make the work of parole and probation deeply human.

The celebration at Sunrise Beach Resort therefore became more than an anniversary activity.

It became a celebration of the past, honoring the dedication and sacrifices of those who helped build the foundation of the agency.

It became a celebration of the present, recognizing the officers, personnel, volunteers, partners, and clients who continue to take part in its mission.

And it became a celebration of the future, carrying forward the hope that the next chapters of the Parole and Probation Administration will continue to be defined by meaningful service, restored relationships, stronger communities, and opportunities for individuals to make better choices and move toward a more hopeful future.

As the Oriental Mindoro Province Parole and Probation Office celebrates this golden milestone, the 50th anniversary reminds us that the true measure of an institution is not only in the number of years it has endured, but also in the lives it has encountered, the stories it has witnessed, the relationships it has helped restore, and the hope it continues to inspire.

From five decades of service comes a legacy that continues to move forward.

𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 | 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Recognizing the indispensable role of local government in community-based rehabilitation, the Officer-in-Charge of the Oriental Mindoro Province Parole and Probation Office, Sr. Probation and Parole Officer Cristina G. Castillo, RSW, along with office personnel, paid a courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor of Pinamalayan, Hon. Rodolfo M. Magsino on July 17, 2026, followed by a courtesy call to the Municipal Mayor of Roxas, Hon. Engr. Jerwin Sanque Dimapilis, on July 20, 2026, to further strengthen the partnership between the Parole and Probation Administration and the respective local government units.

The monthly reporting and intervention activities are conducted within the Municipality of Pinamalayan for probationers and parolees from Pola, Socorro, Pinamalayan, Gloria, Bansud, and Bongabong. Meanwhile, the venue for clients from Roxas, Mansalay, and Bulalacao is located within the Municipality of Roxas, where they are accommodated for their regular reporting and rehabilitation interventions. By opening their doors for rehabilitation activities, both municipalities help bring government services closer to the clients, making guidance, monitoring, and intervention more accessible within their communities.

More than a visit, these courtesy calls reaffirm a shared vision. The steadfast support of the Municipal Governments of Pinamalayan and Roxas reflects a collective commitment to restorative justice, where accountability is matched with opportunity, and every individual is given the chance to rebuild, reconnect, and become a productive member of society.

The Oriental Mindoro Province Parole and Probation Office extends its sincere appreciation to both Municipal Mayors for their unwavering partnership and dedication to advancing a rehabilitation program that is not only community-based, but community-drive, because lasting transformation is made possible when public service is strengthened by genuine collaboration.

The Oriental Mindoro Province Parole and Probation Office led by Sr. PPO/OIC Cristina G. Castillo, together with ADA Baby Princess Judith A. Helmo, ADA III Deserie S. Romion and DOLE-GIP Kenneth M. Torres conducted a Courtesy Call to the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Roxas to express its sincere gratitude for the community's continued support in making rehabilitation services more accessible. Through the monthly reporting conducted in Roxas, clients from Mansalay, Bulalacao, Bongabong, and Roxas are able to fulfill their supervision requirements with less travel time and lower transportation costs, bringing rehabilitation closer to where it matters most.

As part of its commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration, the Office also paid a Courtesy Call to the Clerk of Court of RTC Branch 43, Roxas, Atty. Christine M. Camacho to reinforce partnership and maintain effective communication. Despite the distance between the Court and the Oriental Mindoro Province PPO located at Pinamalayan, continuous coordination helps ensure the efficient processing of probation applications, effective supervision, and the timely delivery of quality services to clients.

Together, we strengthen partnerships, restore lives, and build safer, more compassionate communities.

As part of strengthening inter-agency collaboration, the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Parole and Probation Office personnel's led by Sr. PPO/OIC Cristina G. Castillo, together with CDA Mark Kelvin C. Ilao, ADA Baby Princess Judith A. Helmo and ADA III Deserie S. Romion conducted a Jail Visitation and Courtesy Call to JSINSP ARNEL J MAMPUSTI, Acting District Jail Wardern of BJMP Roxas District Jail on July 16, 2026.

The activity aimed to reinforce the partnership between the two agencies in ensuring effective communication. The visit also served as an avenue to discuss future Information Drive activities that will provide PDLs with accurate and comprehensive information on the Probation Law and Parole and Executive Clemency, its qualifications, benefits, and application process. Through these initiatives, eligible PDLs will be better informed about opportunities for community-based rehabilitation and reintegration.

This strengthened collaboration reflects the shared commitment of the Parole and Probation Administration and the BJMP in promoting restorative justice, empowering PDLs through knowledge, and supporting their successful rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
