Today marked the dynamic final day of Councilors Week, packed with meaningful activities that highlighted leadership, service, and environmental stewardship.

The day commenced with the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, where Councilor Hon. Ricardo R. Sabandal led the opening prayer, setting a solemn and grounded tone for the week’s culmination.

Following the ceremony, the Sangguniang Bayan proceeded to its Regular Session, which featured a special recognition ceremony. Outstanding local legislators were awarded Certificates of Recognition, presented alongside MLGOO IV Mr. Zaide D. Ahmad and Municipal Mayor Rommel I. Gudmalin in honor of their dedication and exemplary public service.

To wrap up the celebration, the Sangguniang Bayan members and staff headed outdoors for a Tree Planting Activity—a collective effort demonstrating their ongoing commitment to a greener, more sustainable community.

This annual observance honors the local legislative body for its steadfast commitment to public service, policy formulation, and community advocacy. Through the diligent enactment of ordinances and strategic resolutions, local councilors continue to strengthen governance and promote sustainable community development.
