The Local Government Unit of Plaridel proudly welcomed some of the candidates of Miss Universe Philippines 2026 as they visited the iconic Bawbawon Footbridge, creating a memorable moment for both the delegates and the local community. The candidates were warmly welcomed by Mayor Gadwin Handumon, Vice Mayor Neite Gornez, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, whose presence reflected the town’s hospitality and pride.

Their visit highlighted the beauty and significance of one of Plaridel’s well-loved landmark while showcasing the municipality’s culture, warmth, and tourism potential. It is truly an honor for Plaridel to be part of Miss Universe Philippines 2026 and to share this unforgettable experience with everyone.

Under the golden heat of the sun, Plaridel shone even brighter as we welcomed the stunning MUPH candidates to the iconic Bawbawon Footbridge. ✨
