The Municipality of Porac, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), takes pride in Ian Carlo Enriquez, one of our Youth Peer Volunteer (YPV), who represented the Philippines as one of the delegates to the 2026 “Bridge of the Future” China–ASEAN Young Leaders Capacity Building Program and Acceleration Week for China–ASEAN Youth Development Programs.

Under the leadership of Mayor, Hon. Jaime V. Capil, together with Vice Mayor, Hon. Jen Capil and the Sangguniang Bayan, the LGU of Porac continues to provide opportunities for Kabataang Poraquenians to learn, lead, participate, and represent beyond borders. 🇵🇭✨

As part of the Buwan ng Kabataan 2026, the CTRL+THINK: Digital Citizenship Challenge aimed to build a generation of responsible, informed, and mindful digital citizens. Through meaningful discussions, the Kabataang Poraquenians gained valuable knowledge on identifying and combating fake news, verifying information, responsible social media use, mental health and online well-being, and healthy online gaming habits.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Carlo Lorenzo T. Datu (PIA) for discussing social media and combating fake news, Ms. Reane Juia R. Simeon for sharing insights on the effects of online gaming, and Mr. Leinard Mangiliman for his discussion in observance of Su***de Prevention Month.

Equipping the Kabataang Poraquenians with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to take on future opportunities. Through meaningful sessions on employment, workers’ rights, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, our youth gained valuable insights to help prepare them for their future careers.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Maria Lutgarda Manuela B. Punay (DTI) and Mr. Danz C. Bautista (DOLE) for sharing their valuable expertise, and to Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Jen Capil for gracing the activity and delivering an inspiring message to the Kabataang Poraquenians. 🤙🏻

Presented on August 29, 2026, at the Red Carpet Cinema 1, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City, this recognition reflects the continued commitment of the Municipality of Porac to building a stronger, more empowered, and youth-centered community. 🤙🏻
