The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) successfully conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting, led by ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ง ๐™…๐™–๐™ž๐™ข๐™š โ€œ๐™…๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œโ€ ๐™‘. ๐˜พ๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ก, to strengthen coordination among different offices and agencies and further improve the municipalityโ€™s disaster preparedness and emergency response efforts.

The meeting focused on the ๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐›๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐จ๐จ๐ง (๐‡๐š๐›๐š๐ ๐š๐ญ) throughout August, as well as the expected weather conditions in the coming days. The Council discussed the possible hazards and the necessary preparedness and response measures to ensure that the municipality remains ready to respond when needed.

Updates were also presented on the current ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ž๐๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž, ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐ฌ๐š๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง๐Ÿ๐ซ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ, ๐ž๐ฏ๐š๐œ๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ฌ, and other concerns related to recent incidents and weather disturbances.
