𝐓 𝐇 𝐄 𝐀 𝐍 𝐍 𝐄 𝐗 || In solidarity with the community's commitment to quality education, the Iloilo District Jail Male Dormitory–Annex (IDJMD–Annex), led by JCINSP DEVER D. FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, with the support of JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, participated in the Closing Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Zarraga National High School.

The success of Brigada Eskwela is a testament to the Filipino spirit of bayanihan, where every helping hand contributes to creating a safer, cleaner, and more conducive learning environment for our learners. Through collective effort and shared responsibility, we invest not only in school facilities but also in the dreams and future of the youth.

As this year's Brigada Eskwela comes to a close, IDJMD–Annex remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that empower communities and inspire the next generation to learn, grow, and succeed.

Under the supervision and management of the Acting Jail Warden JCINSP DEVER D. FANTILAGA and JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, SJO1 Jhon-jhon L Lumines, conducted a Values Restoration Program (VRP) lecture to eleven (11) IDJ-MD Annex personnel.

The session centered on the weekly topic “Purposefulness,” which was discussed through an engaging and interactive exchange of insights among the participants. JO1 Farrah Yvonne Garalda emphasized that purposefulness strengthens direction, discipline, and commitment among BJMP personnel, enabling them to perform duties with clarity and determination.

Through a defined sense of purpose, officers are continually guided to uphold integrity, professionalism, and excellence in delivering effective public service and humane safekeeping.

MONTERO, MM, Regional Director of the Jail Bureau, together with JSINSP MA. EDELIA P FANTILAGA, continues to champion programs that promote compassion, hope, and community empowerment.

In support of this commitment, the Iloilo District Jail Male Dormitory – Annex (IDJMD–Annex), led by JCINSP DEVER D. FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, and JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, supports the PAGHILOM Project: Para sa Pag-aaral, highlighted by the distribution of school supplies to deserving children of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

This meaningful initiative aims to support the educational needs of the beneficiaries by providing essential learning materials that will help them pursue their studies with confidence and enthusiasm.
The activity serves as a reminder that every child deserves access to education and opportunities for a brighter future regardless of life's circumstances.

Under the dynamic leadership of JCINSP DEVER D. FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, with the unwavering support of JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, personnel of the Iloilo District Jail Male Dormitory–Annex actively participated in the "Fun Run for a Cause: Stride with Purpose" held at Festive Walk, Megaworld, Iloilo City on June 4, 2026.

The activity brought together participants from various agencies and organizations in support of a meaningful cause while promoting physical fitness, camaraderie, and community engagement. Through the event, participants demonstrated their commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and supporting initiatives that contribute to the welfare of the community.

The fun run also served as an avenue to strengthen partnerships among government agencies, private organizations, and community stakeholders, fostering unity and cooperation beyond institutional boundaries. The participation of IDJ-MD Annex personnel reflects the Bureau's dedication to promoting wellness, social responsibility, and active involvement in community-centered activities.

Under the dynamic leadership of JCINSP DEVER D. FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, with the unwavering support of JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, the Iloilo District Jail Male Dormitory–Annex facilitated the conduct of a Human Rights Jail Profile Interview spearheaded by Atty. Petrarch Torato and Atty. John Paul Ernest Ravena.

The activity aimed to assess and monitor the welfare, living conditions, and treatment of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) within the facility, ensuring that their fundamental rights are protected and upheld in accordance with established laws, policies, and human rights standards.

During the interview, selected PDL were given the opportunity to openly share their experiences, concerns, and observations regarding their stay inside the facility. The activity also served as a venue for evaluating the implementation of programs and services that contribute to the rehabilitation, welfare, and development of PDL.

𝐓 𝐇 𝐄 𝐀 𝐍 𝐍 𝐄 𝐗 || Upholding the highest standards of integrity, discipline, and professionalism, the Iloilo District Jail Male Dormitory–Annex (IDJMD–Annex) successfully conducted a Random Drug Testing activity under the leadership of JCINSP DEVER D FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, with the unwavering support of JINSP ERICSON L MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden.

The activity resulted in a 100% NEGATIVE outcome among participating personnel and pdl, affirming the facility's steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free environment.

Together, we stand firm in our mission: a Drug-Free Team for a Drug-Free Facility.

FANTILAGA, Acting Jail Warden, and with the unwavering support of JINSP ERICSON L. MENDOZA, Assistant Jail Warden, actively participated in 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at Zarraga Central Elementary School.

Jail personnel joined teachers, parents, volunteers, and community stakeholders in various clean-up, repair, and preparation activities to help ensure that learners will have a safe, clean, and conducive environment as they return to school for the new academic year.

This meaningful initiative reflects the BJMP's dedication not only to public safety and security but also to foster strong partnerships with the community through volunteerism, teamwork, and social responsibility.
