Presenting the Barangay Las Navas Agri-Booth Entry for the Angot Festival! 🌾

A vibrant showcase of craftsmanship, colors, culture, and creativity, this Agri-Booth celebrates and promotes the rich indigenous way of life, traditions, heritage, and history of our community.

🌱 The booth represents the abundance of agriculture and natural resources of Barangay Las Navas, brought to life through colorful artistry and the creative use of indigenous-inspired materials.

🛶 The Boat symbolizes our community’s journey toward a prosperous, resilient, and sustainable future—moving forward together with unity, determination, and hope.

🔥 The Coconut Fire-Inspired Piece serves as a symbol of the passion, strength, and enduring spirit of our community. Like a flame that continues to burn brightly, it represents the determination to keep our culture, agriculture, and community spirit alive—no matter the challenges we face, we continue to shine at our very best.

This tremendous effort was made possible through the collective dedication, coordination, and teamwork of the Barangay Council, headed by our Punong Barangay, Hon. Elena C. Getubig, together with the members of the Barangay Council and everyone who contributed to bringing this vision to life.

Karong adlawa, gipanguluhan ni Kap. Elena C. Getubig kauban sa mga membro sa konseho ang pahina sa barangay sayo pa sa buntag aron ma-sustain og ma ensure ang kalimpyo og kahapsay sa palibot, og preparasyon sa umaabot nga evaluation karong bulana.

Nga diin, sulod sa “Republic Act No. 9003 – Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000”, nga nag-require sa proper segregation, collection, recycling, ug disposal sa solid waste.

Busa, maghinaot usab ang konseho nga ang tanang kasigbit nga matag purok, mag kooperar sa maong kalihukan sa pag dispose sa mga basura, pag andam sa (3) ka-basurahan og compost pit.

Maghinaot nga ato kining matuman alang sa kalimpyo og kalambuan saatong barangay.

✅ REQUIREMENTS:
Note: Kinahanglang i-photocopy ang bisan (1) isa lamang ka musunod nga dokumento unya pirmahan katulo sa ubos:
— National ID
— Voters Certificate nga gi-isyu karon 2026 nga tuig
— Drivers License
— Philhealth card
— PWD/SENIOR CITIZENS ID (Updated)

✅ KAUSABAN SA POLISIYA
— Kung pananglitan ang beneficiary adunay kabilinggan, di makaanhi personal, pwede na mag-authorize ug replacement. Pero kani lamang ang sitwasyon nga gi-consider.

—Kung siya nanarbaho sa Visayas (ex. Cebu) ug Luzon (ex. Manila) o siya usa ka OFW, kani ang angay i-comply:

A. CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT — nga pirmado sa iyang amo, i-scan unya ipadala sa iyang i-authorize unya i-print kanang klaro ug hinlo. Pwedi sila mag-authorize ug membro sa ilang pamilya nga ilang naapil nga membro sa ilang panimalay adtong tuig sa 2024 kung diin gipahigayon ang CBMS survey.

Kibale, ayaw i-authorize ang tao nga wala maapil sa imong household panahon nga na-survey ka aron di mapalaw ug anhi. Ang mga nagtrabaho within MINDANAO kinahanglan siya gyud nga tag-tungod ang moanhi (ex., Surigao, Cagayan, Davao, Butuan)

B. Kung siya nahospital o bedridden, pwede mag-authorize ug membro sa iyang pamilya nga naapil gihapon sa iyang household adtong 2024 CBMS. Magdala ang iya i-authorize ug MEDICAL CERTIFICATE gikan sa iyang Doctor sa hospital o sa MHO nga siya bedridden kung nia ra siya sa Prosperidad, kung wala sa Prosperidad, Medical Certificate sa Doctor kung asa siya gi-atiman ug nagpa-amuma. Dili pwede nga Nurse, Doctor gyud ang mo-pirma.

C. Kung siya namatay, ang mo-replace kadtong naapil gihapon sa iyang household CBMS 2024, magdala ug DEATH CERTIFICATE.
Para sa pag-subay kung kinsa o naapil ba imo ngalan, palihug bisita sa inyong Barangay Office ug mag-inquire kang Barangay Secretary kung anaa ba imo pangalan sa listahan kay amo na ipadala karon nga hapon.

✅ Sa makausa pa, amo ipasabot nga ang listahan gikan sa DSWD nga ang gibasehan nila ang CBMS 2024. Walay kalambigitan sa pagpili ang Munisipyo, Kapitan, MSWD Office o si bisan kinsa nga opisyal sa atong Lungsod, Munisipyo o Barangay.
Amo kini gihipasayo ang maong pahibalo aron makakuha na kamo ug requirements, mapahibalo ninyo ang tua sa layo para makauli ug makaandam sa angay buhaton.
Busa, pangitaa ang imong pangalan kung naapil ka sa beneficiaries.

UPDATE | BUSOG LUSOG SA NATIONAL NUTRITION MONTH 2026! 🥗🍒

The Barangay of Las Navas, through the Barangay Health Station (BHS), successfully celebrated National Nutrition Month 2026 today, July 22, 2026, at the Covered Court with the theme, “Sa PPAN, Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat.”

The activity officially commenced with the opening program, statement of rationale, and inspirational messages from IPMR, Hawudon Gresimo Ostos in behalf of the Barangay Council.

The program was spearheaded by the Chairman of the Committee on Health, Hon. Jay Mark C. Goloran, and Ms. Jonafe A. Labayo, RM II, together with the health volunteers, with the full support and cooperation of the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Elena C. Getubig and the members of the council.

The celebration became even more meaningful through the Feeding Program, generously sponsored by our IPMR, Hawudon Gresimo Ostos, and facilitated by our BNS Coordinator, Mrs. Cristina D. Delos Santos and assisted by SK Kagawad, Hon. Junriel Goloran together with the health volunteers.
The program provided nutritious meals consisting of a cup of arroz caldo, hot milk, and a boiled egg to preschool and Grade 1 pupils of West Prosperidad Elementary School as the major beneficiaries. It was gladly served also to Senior Citizens and attendees of the activity.

One of the major highlights of the celebration was the Free Chest X-ray due to rises of TB rates in the barangay, which conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH). The activity served of more or less 150 residents of the barangay, including personnel and beneficiaries from West Prosperidad National High School, aged 15 years old and above.

The celebration concluded smoothly and successfully, achieving its intended goals and objectives while promoting the importance of proper nutrition and preventive healthcare within the community.
