The Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) of Agusan del Sur is truly grateful for the opportunity to participate in the 2026 National PESO Congress, held in Cebu City on October 14โ16, 2026, attended by more than 1,700 PESO Managers and staff coming from 18 administrative regions accross the nation from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
This yearโs congress provided valuable insights, new learnings, and best practices that will help strengthen and improve PESO services in this rapidly evolving era of technology and changing employment trends.
The trip was especially memorable for the PPESO staff, as it marked their first National PESO Congress with the newly appointed Provincial PESO Manager, Pauline D. Jaramillo Ang. One of the highlights of the event was the awarding of a Plaque of Recognition received by the Provincial PESO Manager on stage from DOLE Secretary Francis Tolentino, recognizing the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur as a national finalist for Best PESO under the 1st Class Province Category. This recognition serves as an inspiration for the team to continue delivering quality and responsive employment services to the people of Agusan del Sur.
Beyond learning and professional development, the PPESO staff also enjoyed memorable side trips and took time for prayer, reflection, and gratitudeโmaking the Cebu experience even more meaningful.
