This Holy Week invites us to slow down and take a break from the noise of everyday life. It is a precious time to remember a journey marked by sacrifice, suffering, and hopeโ€”a powerful reminder of God's love that endures through all things.

May this season be an opportunity to offer a moment of stillnessโ€”to reflect on life, to find meaning in our struggles, and to reconnect with what truly matters.

In silence, may we rediscover compassion, gratitude, and a deeper sense of purpose.

In the heart of Marbon, a group of determined farmers came together in May 2021 with a shared vision to uplift their livelihoods and build a stronger, more sustainable community. This marked the beginning of the Integrated Farmers Association of Marbon (IFAM).

From coconut groves to rice fields, from corn farms to rubber plantations, IFAM members worked tirelessly. Alongside them were livestock raisers and fishermen, all united by one goal: progress through unity. Despite challenges, their commitment never wavered.

With the strong support and guidance of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the CFIDP and KMME programs, new opportunities began to unfold. These trainings and capacity-building initiatives opened doors to modern farming techniques, innovation, and better ways of managing their resources. Knowledge turned into actionโ€”and action into growth.

"Support local, grow local your business is part of bigger history", this captures the very essence of IFAMโ€™s transformation. What started as a small group of farmers has grown into a thriving enterprise one that not only produces quality goods, but also creates opportunities, empowers communities, and strengthens the local economy.

Then came a defining moment May 10, 2024. On this day, IFAM officially began its product processing operations. What was once a dream became a reality.

Today, IFAM stands as a symbol of resilience, collaboration, and hope. Their journey continuesโ€”not just as farmers, but as empowered entrepreneurs shaping a brighter future for their community.

Together, they prove that when local communities rise, everyone grows.
