𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖⁉️ One of the spiritual supports provided to a PDL is their freedom to observe their religion. In the photos are the Muslim PDLs observing the holy month of Ramadan, while Seventh-Day Adventists observe the Sabbath day.

To meet their religious duties, PDLs have access to a designated area in the multipurpose hall, providing them with solace, tranquility, and a sense of direction within the limitations of prison life.🙏🙏🙏

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒! A Person Deprived of Liberty’s (PDL) daily activities does not take place just within the four corners of a cell. They engage in rehabilitation activities and utilize other essential services to prevent mental illness and health complications.

Upon exiting their cell, PDLs will be accompanied by a group of prison guards,👮 also known as the escorting team, whose primary duty is to ensure their safety, security and to minimize the risk associated with PDL behavior.👍

When is it necessary to accompany a PDL? Court proceedings, compensation, medical examinations, hospital referrals, admissions, furloughs, and rehabilitation activities, among others as maybe provided by law.

The PDLs actions are closely monitored to prevent any potential harm, escape attempts, and unauthorized movements.👍

Recently, she conducted an Oral Health advocacy with the senior citizen PDLs to emphasize the significance of oral health in maintaining overall well-being.🫶 Stressing the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene for a healthier future.💪

The advocacy event was met with enthusiasm and participation from the senior citizen PDLs, marking it a successful endeavor.👏👍🤙

Marcos, Jr. on February 6, 2024, and Senator Sherwin "Win" Gatchalian with the representative from the City Government of Valenzuela on February 7, 2024, to ensure the safety and security.

He then expressed his appreciation to all the hardworking personnel of PCSMO who contributed to maintaining peace and order during the visit.

PDLs collect plastic bottles and straws to create these beautiful flowers made of recyclable materials.💐

They display their crafts and sell them to visitors. Each craft amounts to 𝐏𝟏𝟓𝟎.𝟎𝟎, which is quite reasonable considering the effort and purpose behind its creation. They use their earnings to support their daily needs or even to provide for their families outside the facility.

Every piece of contraband found during a zoning operation is confiscated, and its possession results in a penalty.👊👏👍👍

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒:The wives of the PDLs visited their husbands in the Provincial Jail to celebrate Valentine's Day.🥰💞

To commemorate the visit, PCSMO employees set up a photo booth where they could take pictures as souvenirs. PG Rodulfo Saga, Jr. served as the photographer to capture memories worth remembering.👫

Recently, inside the correctional facility, a Group of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) worked hand in hand with the prison guards during an activity. These PDLs are the Technical Working Group (TWG), which helps their fellow PDLs during their class sessions, PG Wilfred Anhao ensures that PDLs behave appropriately during the activity. 👮👩‍🏫

On the other hand, PG Edu Mulato and PG 1 Agsur R. Ozoa were responsible for guarding a PDL who was admitted to DOPMH. A prison guard is assigned to ensure the safety of other patients until the PDL is discharged. In cases where a PDL has no family to assist with discharge, prison guards extend their aid in the discharge process.👮👮

To ensure proper completion of duties during their shift, Team Leader PG III, Joe Elvin Luison oversees his team.🫡

The purpose of the recent jail visit was to establish a partnership between BJMP Caraga Region and the Provincial Jail. Several crucial observations and discussions occurred, highlighting the commitment of both parties.👍
