In line with the broader national socioeconomic agenda of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., the Department of Labor and Employment MIMAROPA Region under the leadership of Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, through its TUPAD Program, successfully graduated twenty-six (26) beneficiaries who completed the 15-day Regional Tour Guiding Training Course conducted from September 3 to 24, 2026, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT) MIMAROPA Region.

The training commenced with an official orientation on September 3, 2026, at Aziza Hotel in Puerto Princesa City. Facilitated by the DOLE Palawan Provincial Office TUPAD Coordinator, the session thoroughly oriented participants on program compliance, mandatory work requirements, documentation protocols, attendance standards, and transparent payment disbursement procedures under the TUPAD framework.

In line with the broader national socioeconomic agenda of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., the Department of Labor and Employment under the leadership of Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, through its Adjustment Measures Program (AMP), awarded ₱205,755.00 worth of financial assistance to Aspar Food House at the DOLE Palawan Provincial Office on September 23, 2026.

The grant, in the form of a check, was personally handed by DOLE Palawan Provincial Office Head Engr. Rhea J. Paitan and AMP Provincial Focal Azenette M. Quiaoit-Solina to young entrepreneur Mr. Kian John Austria Niala, owner of Aspar Food House, during the awarding ceremony.

In line with President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen initiatives that bring decent and quality employment opportunities closer to every Filipino, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA, with the support of the Labor Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, conducted the Nationwide Trabaho Agad Job Fair as part of the 2026 Handog ng Pangulo Program on September 14, 2026, at Robinsons Palawan, carrying the theme, “Handog ng Pangulo, Serbisyong Tapat Para sa Lahat.”

The initiative brought together 20 participating employers and 333 jobseekers from across Palawan, providing applicants direct access to employment opportunities and networking with prospective employers.

Of the total registrants (113 males and 220 females), 232 applicants were deemed qualified for available positions, while 95 were classified as near-hires (42 males and 53 females).

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

3. Slots are limited and registrants are accommodated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
4. Before the first day of the training, check your email for a confirmation indicating the approval or denial of your registration.
If approved, it will contain reminders on how to join the training.
If denied, it will indicate either of the following reasons:
• full slots
• company needs 10-hr BOSH for SO1
• company needs 40-hr BOSH for SO2 (or higher)
• lacking technological requirements (unavailability of laptop or desktop)
• more than 2 participants per company
• unemployed registrant
• company is not in the Philippines
• OH Personnel to train with PCOM (Doctors) or OHNAP (Nurses)
