HOW THE TPASS METHOD WORKS

In emergency situations, knowing how to properly use a fire extinguisher can save lives and prevent major damage. Follow the TPASS Method for quick and effective response:

T – Twist or break the safety seal to unlock the extinguisher
P – Pull the pin to prepare it for use
A – Aim the nozzle at the base of the fire
S – Squeeze the handle to release the extinguishing agent
S – Sweep side to side at the base of the fire until it is completely extinguished

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Always stay calm during fire emergencies
• Use the correct type of fire extinguisher
• Know and familiarize yourself with fire safety equipment in your area
Preparedness saves lives. Awareness is the first step to safety.
