AFPCES Chief of Staff Engages PNP on Commissary Initiative

On 30 April 2026, LTC ROGELIO A VILLAMANTE JR GSC (FS) PA, Chief of Staff of the AFP Commissary and Exchange Services (AFPCES), led an official engagement with Philippine National Police (PNP) representatives at AFPCES Headquarters, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

LTC VILLAMANTE warmly welcomed the PNP delegation and reaffirmed AFPCES' full support for their initiative to establish a commissary facility within PNP camps. He emphasized how the project would enhance PNP personnel welfare by providing access to tax-subsidized essential goods and services.

He also delivered a comprehensive briefing on AFPCES, outlining its mandate, core operations, and flagship programs. The meeting fostered productive dialogue, with both parties underscoring the value of inter-agency collaboration to uplift uniformed personnel across services.

AFPCES Rolling Store Brings Essentials to 1st AFP Affiliated Reserve Medical Center on Its 15th Anniversary.

In celebration of the 15th Unit Anniversary of the 1st AFP Affiliated Reserve Medical Center (UPHS), the Armed Forces of the Philippines Commissary and Exchange Service (AFPCES) conducted its Rolling Store program on April 16–17, 2025, at Perpetual Help Medical Center in Las Piñas City. The event delivered essential goods and services directly to AFP active and reserve personnel, veterans, retirees, and their dependents.

The AFPCES Rolling Store is a mobile retail initiative that brings basic goods and essential services to authorized AFP customers, bridging gaps for those with limited access to commissary facilities.

The activity was coordinated with Perpetual Help Medical Center Las Piñas management, reflecting AFP's commitment to expanding service reach and strengthening ties with affiliated institutions supporting military welfare.

AFP Reserve Force personnel at the medical center provided full support, exemplifying their dedication to serving fellow authorized customers and communities beyond regular duties.

Samudio FS (GSC) PA, Deputy Commander of AFPCES, received the delegation and provided an overview of the organization's programs and services.

A briefing on AFPCES' mandate and operations was further presented by LTC Rogelio A. Villamante Jr. PA (GSC), Chief of Staff of AFPCES.
