DID YOU KNOW?
The DILG PADS-PMO, an office under the Department of the Interior and Local Government tasked to spearhead the Department's various initiatives towards drug-free communities, was created by virtue of Executive Order no. 88 of 2018.
The said order mandated all government government offices, departments, bureaus, agencies and offices, including government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs) and state universities and colleges (SUCs) to implement the PADS in accordance with their respective mandates. Non-government organizations, civil society organizations and private institutions were also encouraged to actively support the projects and programs under the PADS.
In essence, PADS is the blueprint of the government's strategies and programs in cutting the supply of and demand for illegal drugs.

DILG PADS-PMO successfully holds virtual 2021 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Awarding Ceremony
To conclude the 2019 and 2020 ADAC Performance Audit, the DILG PADS-PMO on December 10, 2021 held its second virtual ADAC Awarding for the best-performing local Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (ADACs) for audit years 2019 and 2020.
This year’s virtual Awarding Ceremony was hosted by the DILG Outcome Officer on Anti-Illegal Drugs and the Undersecretary for External and Legislative Affairs, Usec. Ricojudge RJ Echiverri and the Undersecretary for Mindanao Affairs and Special Concerns, Usec. Marjorie Jalosjos.
