On March 18, 2026, the BJMP GAD, led by Chief, BJMP and GAD Focal Person, JDIR RUEL S RIVERA, DSC, through JCSUPT Filipinas Tiqui Fulgencio, Chairperson of BJMP GAD Technical Working Group, conducted Juana’s Fair event as part of the activities of the 2026 National Women's Month at the National Headquarters.

It was also attended by JCSUPT EFREN A NEMEÑO, DPA, TLPE, Deputy Chief for Operations of the Jail Bureau; JCSUPT CLINT RUSSEL A TANGERES, CESE, Chief of Directorial Staff of the Jail Bureau; Officer and Non-Officer Ranks, and non-uniformed personnel of the BJMP NHQ.

The fair gave personnel the opportunity to showcase their products, services, and talents, while also creating avenues for additional income and promoting financial independence.

On March 6, 2026, the BJMP GAD, led by Chief, BJMP and GAD Focal Person, JDIR RUEL S RIVERA, DSC, through JCSUPT Filipinas Tiqui Fulgencio, Chairperson of BJMP GAD Technical Working Group, attended the 2026 National Women's Month Kickoff Ceremony of the Philippine Commission on Women held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Malate, Manila.

This year’s sub-theme, “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” highlights the leadership and contributions of women in the Philippines and across the ASEAN region. It aims to promote programs that support gender equality, ensure women have fair access to decision-making roles, and encourage collaboration among different sectors to create meaningful change both nationally and regionally.

Also present in the event were JCSUPT LEONALYN OLOAN, and Ms. Sarah Pana of BJMP Multi-Purpose Cooperative GAD Committee, and members of the BJMP GAD TWG.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: The celebration of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women was observed at the BJMP National Headquarters, Main Conference Hall reaffirming its commitment to protect women’s rights and dignity.

The event was graced by the Chairperson of the Gender and Development Focal Point Executive Committee JCSUPT DENNIS U ROCAMORA, and the Chairperson, BJMP Gender and Development Technical Working Group (GAD TWG) JCSUPT FILIPINAS T FULGENCIO.
