On 30 March 2026 | The Closing Ceremony of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) Clinical Phase of the Coast Guard Dental Technician Specialization Course Class 01-2025 was successfully held at V. Luna, AFP, marking the culmination of a comprehensive and intensive clinical training program designed to enhance the technical proficiency, clinical competence, and professional readiness of the participating personnel.

19 March 2026 | The visit of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to the Dental Center, AFP led by CAPT DONNA D MALDO DS PCG, Deputy Office of the Coast Guard Dental Surgeon and Party, was marked by a spirit of camaraderie and strengthened unity between the two units.
The activity reflected a positive and harmonious relationship, fostering mutual respect and cooperation. Such engagement not only enhanced inter-agency coordination but also promoted goodwill, contributing to a more collaborative and effective working environment among government services.

IN PHOTOS | Dental Center, AFP conducted a 1st Quarter Unit Training focused on the Improvement of Personnel and Administrative Skills: Procurement and Management and Implementation of Effective Supply Management System Training.
As part of the training program, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) were invited to share their knowledge and best practices. Mr. Genaro S Tapao, MBA, Civilian Human Resource, discussed effective strategies and good practices in property and supply management. His presentation emphasized proper inventory control, accountability procedures, documentation standards, and the importance of transparency in managing government resources.
Meanwhile, Ms. Abigail V Pinos, MPA, Civilian Human Resource, delivered a lecture on the transfer of property accountability. She highlighted the correct procedures for transferring responsibility of issued property, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining clear records to avoid discrepancies and loss. She also stressed the importance of compliance with existing policies and regulations to uphold integrity within the organization.
Overall, the training provided valuable insights and reinforced the importance of proper personnel and administrative practices in achieving operational effectiveness within the unit.

with the topic of Cervical Cancer Awareness and Prevention. ๐
CPT ELIZA JUNEL M PATAGNAN MC, information dissemination, emphasize educating women about the risks, early signs, and preventive measures related to Cervical Cancer to the personnel of Dental Center, AFP through continuous education, vaccination and regular screening, cervical cancer can be significantly reduced and effectively prevented, thereby protecting women's health and improving overall quality of life.

BUWAN NG KABABAIHAN 2026 | Ang Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas ay buong-pugay na kumikilala sa mahalagang papel at di-matatawarang ambag ng kababaihan sa lahat ng larangan, sa loob at labas ng ating institusyon.
Ang temang "Lead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas" ay isang paalala na ang kapangyarihan ng babae ay nagmumula sa kaniyang kakayahang mamuno nang may integridad at kahusayan. Tulad ng mga babaylan na kinikilala sa kanilang taglay na tapang at karunungan, ang kababaihan sa ating organisasyon ay nagpapakita ng kahusayan sa pamumuno, disiplina, at dedikasyon sa paglilingkod.
Sa AFP, ang kababaihan ay hindi lamang kalahok, sila ay mga lider, tagapanday ng pagbabago, at haligi ng isang mas matatag at progresibong kinabukasan.
