DHRD Joins Mangrove Planting Activity in Subic, Olongapo City

The Directorate for Human Resource Development (DHRD), under the leadership of JCSUPT PAULINO H MORENO JR., participated in a mangrove planting activity organized by the Olongapo District Jail of the BJMPRO III, in partnership with the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Ecology Center and GrandSec Reynold S. Fajardo No. 383, F. & A.M., in Subic, Olongapo City.

Through this initiative, the DHRD reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and community engagement. The activity also strengthened partnerships among participating organizations and promoted a shared sense of responsibility in safeguarding the environment.

More than a mangrove-planting activity, the undertaking reflects the importance of collective action in building resilient, sustainable communities. It reminds us that public service extends beyond institutional responsibilities and includes active participation in initiatives that protect natural resources and preserve the environment for future generations.

OPENING CEREMONY AND TURNOVER OF JBRC CLASS 2026-06

Under the leadership of JCSUPT PAULINO H MORENO JR, Director for Human Resource Development, JSSUPT LORETA O PALADA, Deputy Director for Human Resource Development, attended the Opening Ceremony and Turnover of JO1 Trainees for the Jail Basic Recruit Course (JBRC) Class 2026-06 at the National Jail Management and Penology Training Institute (NJMPTI) Main Campus, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

The Opening Ceremony marks an important milestone in the professional journey of the incoming jail officers as they begin their formal training and preparation for service in the Jail Bureau. Through the structured training program, the recruits will develop the discipline, knowledge, skills, integrity, and sense of responsibility necessary to perform their duties and uphold the Bureau’s mandate.

As they embark on this journey, they are reminded that training is not merely a requirement for entry into the service, but the foundation upon which competent, disciplined, and dedicated jail officers are built. It is where they begin to understand the true meaning of public service, learn the value of teamwork, and prepare themselves for the challenges and responsibilities that await them.
