🔴𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 @ 𝗘𝗟𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗕 - Exploratory Meeting on the Integration of LPTRP into the PlanSmart Platform

ELUPDB hosted a meeting with representatives from DOTr and DOST-PHILVOCS to advance the proposed integration of the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP), a key component of the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP), into the PlanSmart platform.

Building on initial discussions, the meeting focuses on aligning transport and land use planning by integrating LPTRP data into the system—supporting LGUs in more coordinated, data-driven, and sustainable planning processes. Key discussions include collaboration areas, technical considerations, and next steps toward full integration.

The Bureau convenes to assess first semester accomplishments, recalibrate targets, and align priorities for the second half of the year.

The 2-day activity covers the presentation of accomplishments and strategic planning across all divisions and key programs—UDD, ELUPD, TAD, MED, AutoCAM, and PLANADO—ensuring cohesive direction and strengthened implementation moving forward.

DHSUD engages with the Vietnamese delegation from the Central Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation to exchange best practices on urban development, housing, digital transformation, climate resilience, and smart cities.

The meeting is led by DHSUD Senior Undersecretary Henry L. Yap and Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, Director-General of the Department of Digital Transformation and Cryptography, representing the Vietnamese delegation during their State Visit to the Philippines.

Discussions focus on strengthening Philippines–Vietnam cooperation; highlighting housing finance, digital planning tools, climate-responsive development, and smart city initiatives toward more inclusive and sustainable communities in the region.
