RMBGH - Medical Social Service

The Medical Social Service Department (MSS) initiated a meeting with the Quezon City Social Services Development Department (QC SSDD), together with the hospital’s Medical Officers, for an orientation on the programs and services of QC SSDD for teenage pregnancy mothers.

The discussion was meaningful and productive, opening opportunities to strengthen coordination and effectively bridge hospital patients to the various services provided by the city government.

Community Gift Giving | December 18, 2025

Isinagawa ng RMBGH - Medical Social Service ang isang makabuluhang community gift giving activity noong December 18, 2025 sa Barangay Holy Spirit, para sa ating mga indigent Persons with Disability (PWDs) na residente ng barangay.

Mas naging makabuluhan at espesyal ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng pagdalo at buong suporta ng ating Medical Center Chief, Dr. Dave Vergara, kasama ang iba’t ibang kawani ng ospital na naging katuwang sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng programa at sa pamamahagi ng mga munting regalo.

Lubos din naming pinasasalamatan ang pamunuan ng barangay sa pangunguna ni Kapitana Estrella Valmocina, kasama si Kagawad Joemar Lagarto, PWD focal person Ms. Sarah Jane Dela Rosa sa kanilang mainit na pagtanggap at patuloy na pakikiisa sa mga programang para sa kapakanan ng komunidad.

Taos-puso rin ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng sponsors ng programa mula sa iba’t ibang division at department ng ospital, pati na rin sa QC–Social Services Development Department (QC-SSDD) at sa MSN Foundations, na naging daan upang maisakatuparan at mapagyaman ang aktibidad na ito.

Sa simpleng pagbibigay, naipadama natin ang malasakit, pagkakaisa, at pag-asa—isang paalala na walang naiiwan kapag sama-sama ang komunidad.

The Department of Health (DOH) CHD-NCR Team visited RMBGH MSSD held on November 3, 2025 to assess the ongoing implementation of the MAIFIP Program and receive a status update on the Malasakit Center inauguration.

The MSSD was commended for the quality of service provided, especially in adhering to DOH-AO No. 0044, which outlines the implementing guidelines on the classification of patients and the availment of medical social services in government hospitals.

Our hospital continues to strengthen partnerships to enhance service delivery for indigent patients. 🤝👩‍💻

In celebration of Mental Health Month, the Medical Social Service Department conducted a training seminar for senior patients entitled “Psychosocial Support for Elderly Patients” held at the RMBGH 4th Floor Function Room. 🧠💚

The activity aimed to raise awareness and promote mental well-being among the elderly by providing them with coping strategies, emotional support, and a sense of community.
