In celebration of the National Migrant Workers' Day on June 7, 2026, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) will launch the first Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Global Summit at the Quezon City Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) Center in the Quezon City Hall Compound.

In partnership with the Quezon City Government, the Summit highlights the vital role of OFWs in shaping an inclusive economic growth and sustainable development for the country. It also seeks to strengthen partnerships, improve coordination and reaffirm the country’s commitment to protecting migrant workers, ensuring safe, ethical and orderly labor migration and fostering pathways for sustainable reintegration and long-term development impact.

Expected participants include land-based and sea-based OFWs, OFW organizations and families, senior-citizen OFWs, industry players, legislators, national and local government officials, international government organizations, financial institutions, private-sector partners and civil society groups.

Members of the National Reintegration Network (NRN) will offer programs and services to OFWs, including:
• Reintegration and legal assistance - DMW
• Welfare and wellness support - Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
• Passport services – Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)
• Investment opportunities - Pag-IBIG Fund
• Social pension and related services - SSS – Social Security System and PhilHealth
• Local employment opportunities - Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
• Enterprise development assistance Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
• Medical services – Department of Health (DOH)
• Training and upskilling – Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)
• National ID registration – Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
• Immigration guidance – Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID)
• Overseas voting information – Commission on Elections (COMELEC)
• Remittance services – Overseas Filipino Bank (OF Bank)
