Quezon City Hall Precinct Kamuning

The Quezon City Hall Precinct (QCHP) personnel, led by PMAJ ROHAINA I ASALAN, attended the first Traditional Flag Raising Ceremony of the month at the Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall, on June 1, 2026.

The ceremony was spearheaded by Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, alongside city councilors, department heads, and city employees. To ensure a safe and orderly program, QCPD personnel—together with PLT KHENJIE ESTEBAN RODRIGUEZ and PLT JEFFERSON BAUTISTA—provided strict security coverage for all participants.

In observance of the 128th National Flag Day, the Quezon City Local Government Unit led by Mayor Ma. Josefina “Joy” Belmonte joined the flag raising ceremony as part of the tribute to the Philippine Flag and to the courage and sacrifices of our heroes which inspires everyone to uphold patriotism, respect, and love for our country.

The event was held on May 28, 2026 at Risen Garden, Quezon City Hall Compound and was attended by Ms. Rowena Macatao, Chief of Staff; Quezon City Councilors; Department Heads; PCOL JOEL VILLANUEVA, Quezon City Police District Deputy District Director for Administration; PLTCOL ALJUN BELISTA, Kamuning Police Station 10 Commander and PMAJ ROHAINA I ASALAN, Quezon City Hall Precinct Commander.

The Muslim community led by the Bangsamoro Group celebrated the Eid'l Adha Al-Mubarak (Feast of Sacrifice) with a mass prayer on May 27, 2026 at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle.

The celebration marks the conclusion of the holy Hajj pilgrimage which was attended by more than 2,000 of our Muslim brothers and sisters which symbolizes the unwavering devotion, submission to divine will, and the values of peace, blessings, and success. The celebration was also attended by Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina “Joy” Belmonte.

To ensure the safety and orderliness of the celebration, personnel from Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) under PLTCOL ZACHARY CAPELLAN, along with Quezon City Hall Precinct (QCHP) led by PMAJ ROHAINA ASALAN, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), and the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) provided comprehensive area security throughout the celebration.
