DOJ Recognized at DepEd Partnersโ€™ Appreciation Program; RD Padua Receives Plaque of Appreciation

The Department of Justice (DOJ) was among the distinguished partners recognized during the DepEd Partnersโ€™ Appreciation Program 2026, themed โ€œPartnerships that Endure - Reforms that Last,โ€ held at the Mandaluyong College of Science and Technology on May 8, 2026.
Department of Education Secretary Sonny Angara personally led the recognition ceremony, which gathered around 200 government agencies, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and private-sector partners that have contributed to the advancement of quality education for Filipino learners.
Representing the DOJ, Regional Director Dr. Janette S. Padua, CESO V received the plaque of appreciation and token of gratitude on behalf of the Department. The award recognized the DOJโ€™s dedication and outstanding support to DepEdโ€™s programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening educational opportunities and outcomes.
The recognition highlights the enduring partnership between the DOJ and DepEd and reflects their shared commitment to advancing education and fostering positive reforms that benefit Filipino learners nationwide.

Administrator Bienvenido O. Benitez, Jr., representing the Parole and Probation Administration (PPA), and Ms. Rhayna Batalan, representing the Mental Health Hour Manila (MHH Manila), formally signed the Memorandum of Agreement on May 25, 2026, at the Teodulo Natividad Hall in Central Office.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, CSC-BFP Field Office Director Henry Peliรฑo awarded the Certificate of Recognition to Administrator Bienvenido O. Benitez, Jr. after the flag-raising ceremony at the PPA โ€“ Central Office. The Certificate was given to the Parole and Probation Administration for obtaining ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘ณ๐’†๐’—๐’†๐’ ๐‘ฐ๐‘ฐ in the following Human Resource Systems under the Enhanced PRIME-HRM:
- Recruitment, Selection, and Placement
- Performance Management
- Learning and Development
- Rewards and Recognition

PPA received the recognition as a result of its determination to promote peopleโ€™s excellence for efficient and effective delivery of public service.

Meanwhile, Personnel Section Chief Madelene B. Balane was happy for this certification and thanked each champion and their members for helping achieve this success.
