Erika Balete and the Evil Librarian" is a campus fantasy inspired by a PSA report showing 18.9 million Filipinos are functionally illiterate. It follows Erika, a Grade 12 student with hidden powers, as she battles a sinister librarian feeding on screen-addicted youth. Created by 2nd year BS Multimedia Arts students of STI College Muñoz-EDSA, the story blends magic, mental health, and young romance, reflecting today’s struggles and strengths.
