The PMO-ERG is mandated to ensure an integrated earthquake resiliency plan for the Greater Metro Manila Area (GMMA) which is the seat of national government and the main hub of the country's economic, financial, political, and educational center.

ATM at Widus Hotel, Clark: With Team DENR doing an exercise to update the Agency's Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) in line with the Testing and Maintenance provision of DENR PSCP v. 1.0 formulated in 2018. This activity is consistent with the 2-Prong strategy to achieve Earthquake Resilience in Greater Metro Manila Area. Government agencies are urged to have their respective PSCP to ensure continued service to the public in the event of major disasters.

Water is an essential resource for survival of communities during disasters. It is imperative to secure water sources and develop a robust distribution system to ensure access to it as part of the total disaster resiliency effort. It is very inspiring to see different sectors (Government and Private) share their knowledge and experiences in a forum.

Yesterday, 8 April 2022, a table top exercise entitled - Gearing Up for the 'Big One' was held at Marquis Events Place, BGC, Tagig City. It was the first for the Energy Sector and also the first face-to-face activity since CoViD19 hit us. The holding of the TTX is part of the process in developing the National Energy Sector Contingency Plan (NECP). It was led by DOE under the auspices of the USAID in partnership with PDRF, DOST-PHIVOLCS, DND-OCD, and OP PMO-ERG.
