June 06, 2022 | "CLEARING OPERATION" QUEZON CITY
In compliance with City Ordinance SP-3044, S-2021 or An Ordinance Regulating Billboards, Signs, and Other Outdoor Media in Quezon City Government Property, Providing for the Procedure for Applying for Installation of such Outdoor Media, and Other Connected Purposes. Republic Act 3571 or An Act to Prohibit the Cutting, Destroying or Injuring of Planted or Growing Trees, Flowering Plants and Shrubs or Plants of Scenic Value Along Public Roads, in Plazas, Parks, School Premises or in Any Other Public Pleasure Ground.
DPOS personnel were deployed in various locations of Quezon City to clear the city of obstructing signages and outdoor medias that are not compliant with the above-mentioned ordinances.

April 11 & 12, 2022 | "OPERATION BAKLAS 2022" COMELEC QUEZON CITY
In compliance with City Ordinance SP-3044, S-2021 or An Ordinance Regulating Billboards, Signs, and Other Outdoor Media in Quezon City Government Property, Providing for the Procedure for Applying for Installation of such Outdoor Media, and Other Connected Purposes. The COMELEC Quezon City, in cooperation with Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), Philippine National Police (PNP), Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Task Force Disiplina, Market Development and Administration Department (MDAD), Solid Waste and Task Force for Transport and Traffic Management (TFTTM) conducted an "Operation Baklas 2022"(Task Force Teardown) to ensure that the above-mentioned ordinances and laws are being adhered. As early as 5:00 am, batches of DPOS personnel were deployed in various locations of Quezon City to clear the city of obstructing signages and outdoor medias that are not compliant with the above-mentioned ordinances.

In celebration of the Month long activity of the International Women’s Month, The Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) in coordination with Task Force for Transport and Traffic Management (TF-TTM), organized Seminar regarding Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer Awarness at 4th floor, DPOS Building with the following Divisions: The Administrative Division, Green Transport Office (GTO), Anti-Squatting and Relocation Division (ASERD), Security and Intelligence Division (SID), Education Section, Tricycle Regulation Division (TRD), Traffic Adjudication Board (TAB), Ordinance Violation Receipt (OVR) Redemption Section and Traffic Operation Division (TOD).
