A DAY FULL OF LOVE: P6ES School-Based Teachers' Day Celebration Overflows with Gratitude and Surprises
October 5, 2026, will forever be etched in the hearts of P6ES teachers as a day when the entire school community said “Thank You” in the grandest way.
Spearheaded by our beloved School Principal Dr. Daisy E. Cañizares, the School-Based Teachers’ Day Celebration became a true bayanihan of love, Ma'am Daisy was collaborated with the SPTA officers under President Iris Ondoy, SELG President Kenjie Bautista, SGC elected President Beng Manuel, parents, learners, and the ever-supportive District 1 Councilors.
It was not just a celebration — it was a festival full of surprises. The school grounds transformed into a colorful fiesta of booths sponsored with so much love from each grade level:SELG - Fruit, Kinder Booth; Sweet Corner, Grade 1 - Ice Cream corner, Grade 2 - Taho corner, Grade 3 - Juice Corner; Grade 4 - Street Food corner; Grade 5 - Binatog corner; Grade 6 - Kakanin; SPTA , photobooth and On-the-spot Tote Bag Printing while Ma’am Daisy partnered it with On-the-spot Pouch Bag Printing; Konsi Nikki - Sopas, Konsi TJ - Massage, Konsi Bernard - Coffee Station, Konsi Delarmente - Sandwich and Popcorn.
The catering & food packs, sash, certificates, and tokens were generously sponsored by the SPTA, Cong. Arjo, Konsi Charm, Konsi Juico, Save the Children and AG MW Pedro M. Gimenez Masonic Lodge No. 370.
Special Gift certificates were sponsored by Luz Facial Care and La Lucia Hotel and Resort in Station 3mwhile SGC and Rotary Club of North Edsa sponsored bottles of shampoo as raffle items. Indeed, no teacher went home empty-handed.
Official Photos were captured by Kuya Alvin and Ate Aura, while sounds by Pres Rolly Manlapaz.
From Kinder to Grade 6, learners rendered amazing intermission numbers with choreography by their parents, while parlor games filled the air with laughter.
In return, love was given back. As a gesture of deep gratitude and respect, the teachers collectively presented a special gift to our beloved Principal Dr. Cañizares; and a thoughtful present to our PSDS, Dr Audete Simon who has been our guiding light and source of inspiration. It was indeed a full circle of love — the community honors the teachers, and the teachers honor their leaders.
The most touching moment was the tribute to our teachers, especially those who have served DepEd for 20 years and above. Sir Raul Garcia who has been in the service for 40 years was given a special tribute. It was a salute to dedication — a reminder that a teacher is always a teacher.
Indeed, it was a celebration organized for teachers by grateful community whose lives were touched by them.
Mabuhay ang ating mga g**o! At maraming salamat sa lahat ng mga nagmamahal sa kanila!
