P6SSES GRADUATION DAY 2026: 448 GRADS CELEBRATE DREAMS FULFILLED AT MICE

On its 68th Commencement Exercises, a grand display of community support and academic excellence made 217 boys and 231 girls donned their caps and gowns as they graduated from elementary at the Quezon City M.I.C.E. Center (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) (MICE) last March 29.

In a nod to transparency, school officials emphasized and complied with DepEd’s No Collection Policy Order as majority of the expenses were covered by the School's MOOE, while supplemental expenditures were shouldered by the LGUs. This made the graduation event totally free for all graduates and attendees.

The ceremony, sponsored by local leaders, lived up to its promise of excellence. Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte for the second year provided the venue MICE, a 5-story modern convention facility located inside the Quezon City Hall compound, comfy chairs, tables, rostrums, toga and diploma holders; Congressional District 1 Representative Honorable Juan Carlos Atayde on its year two provided the LED Wall; Tita Beth Delarmente and Councilor Dorothy Delarmente with Project 6 Barangay Captain Cecile Agcaoili provided the Stage and Backdrop Frame.

Noteworthy to mention are the additional chairs provided by Councilor Nikki Crisologo, Councilor Bernard Herrera, Councilor Joseph Juico, Councilor Charm Ferrer plus the 450 chairs shared by E. Rodriguez High School. Imelda “Beng” Manuel, elected SGC Chair, led the hauling of chairs, demonstrating hands-on leadership and dedication to the school community. She also served as one of the overall persons-in-charge of the graduation, reaching out to the LGU and knocking on generous hearts to secure sponsorship for the success of the ceremony. She was assisted by SPTA led by Pres Dorathy Lansang and fellow Grade six parents.

Councilor TJ Calalay provided the top quality sound system; SDS Dr. Evalou Agustin and Mrs. Catherine Faldas provided the additional refreshments; Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, together with Congresswoman Marivic Co Pilar, Councilors Banjo Co Pilar, Ellie Tan, Christine Matias, Vic Bernardo all from District VI also extended financial assistance.

School Head Dr. Daisy Cañizares presented the graduates who SDO QC ASDS Ms. Isabelle S. Sibayan confirmed, amidst applause from proud parents, teachers, and honored guests. Certificate of Completion was awarded by PSDS Dr. Joel Colobong, Dr. Audete Simeon, Sir Francis Briones with Honorable Dorothy Delarmente, Honorable Nikki Crisologo and Honorable Joseph Juico, Brgy officials Capt Agcaoili, Kagawad Carlo Barreto and Kagawad Vicky Bayno.

Honorable Nikki Crisologo who represented Mayor Joy graced the event and delivered her speech after the Mayor’s video was played. Lavigna Dale Q. Castro led the opening prayer, Richard Nathan O. Eugenio led the graduates’ pledge and Andrea M. Faldas delivered a speech that left the audience beaming.

SGC President Mr. Gener Acol and Ms. Cecile Perias kept the ceremony flowing smoothly as Masters of the ceremony.

After the ceremony, teachers, guests, NTPs, SPTA, and SGC members enjoyed a catered lunch together, wrapping up the important event of joy and celebration!

With certificates in hand, the 448 graduates are ready to soar! We praise and thank God for making this event possible. Without His hand, guidance, and blessing, this day would not have been as successful and memorable. To God be the glory!

A Three-Star Triumph: Ending the School Year with Pride and Purpose🌟🌟🌟

What a meaningful and inspiring way to close School Year 2025–2026!

As Project 6 Special Science Elementary School reflects on a year filled with milestones and achievements, another remarkable success has been added to its growing legacy. On March 31, 2026, the school proudly underwent validation by the Medical Section of the Schools Division Office-Quezon City for its implementation of the WASH in Schools (WinS) Program.

With strict and rigorous standards guiding the evaluation, the school rose to the challenge with excellence and commitment, earning the prestigious Three-Star Rating, the highest recognition for WinS implementation. This achievement is more than just a rating, it is a testament to the school’s unwavering dedication to ensuring a safe, clean, and health-promoting environment for every learner. It reflects a collective effort grounded in shared responsibility, discipline, and care.

This success would not have been possible without the strong collaboration of internal and external stakeholders whose support continues to uplift the school community. With heartfelt gratitude, we recognize the remarkable leadership of Dr. Daisy E. Cañizares, whose vision and guidance paved the way for this accomplishment.

Equally commendable are the invaluable contributions of Mrs. Dorathy Lansang, SPTA President, and Mrs. Imelda “Beng” Manuel, SGC Chairman, whose generosity, commitment, and tireless efforts played a vital role in achieving this milestone.

Indeed, this victory is a reflection of what a united school community can achieve.

As the school year comes to a close, Project 6 Special Science Elementary School stands even stronger, continuing to embody its guiding principle:

“Learners enter with hope and leave with pride.”

And with this Three-Star WinS recognition, that pride shines even brighter. ✨
