Accelerating Economic Growth Through Digital Governance ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ’ป

The QC BPLD shared its expertise in digital governance and Ease of Doing Business (EODB) reforms during the Forum on Local Governance and Development: Accelerating Economic Growth in the Subic-Clark Corridor: Enhancing Ease of Doing Business in Local Governments, organized by the Subic-Clark Alliance for Development (SCAD) in Angeles City.

NABPLO President and QC BPLD Head Ms. Margie Mejia served as a resource speaker and workshop facilitator, sharing Quezon Cityโ€™s experience in advancing EODB through digitalization, process streamlining, inter-agency collaboration, and open governance initiatives.

She highlighted how Quezon Cityโ€™s integrated digital systems have enabled full online business permit processing, reduced turnaround times, strengthened transparency and compliance, and supported data-driven governance. She likewise facilitated the Workshop on Improving Ease of Doing Business and Permitting Processes in Corridor LGUs, where participants exchanged best practices and explored practical reforms to enhance local service delivery.

Through initiatives like this, Quezon City continues to support local governments in building more efficient, transparent, and business-friendly communities.
