The BJMP Directorate for Health Service presented the results of the Scabies Prevalence Survey in BJMP jailsโa study supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross Philippinesโand the study on the Mental Health of PDL with Childhood Trauma during the 11th International Conference on Public Health (ICOPH) held in Bangkok, Thailand from 7 to 9 August. This demonstrated BJMPโs strong commitment to raising awareness and pursuing broader initiatives to improve the health and welfare of PDL in the country. The conference brought together over 450 participants from 54 countries, including representatives from international organizations, ministries of health, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and other stakeholders.
