Celebrating 87 Years of Quezon City Through Animal Welfare!

Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) joined the celebration of Quezon City’s 87th Founding Anniversary at Quezon Memorial Circle!

As part of the celebration, AKF conducted a Pet Education Talk on Responsible Pet Ownership, promoting compassion, proper pet care, and a shared responsibility to protect our furry friends. 🐶🐱

Thank you to the Quezon City Veterinary Department (QCVD) for having us as part of this meaningful celebration! Together, let’s build a more compassionate and animal-friendly community.

🐾 SAFE AT LAST! DOG TRAPPED IN DRAINAGE CANAL RESCUED! ❤️

GOOD NEWS! The dog reported trapped in a drainage canal along Quezon Avenue corner G. Araneta Avenue has been successfully rescued today, October 19! 🐶

Following earlier unsuccessful search efforts, the concern was brought to the attention of the Quezon City Government, with the Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) helping amplify the call for assistance.

Through the collective efforts of the QC DRRMO SAR Team, Barangay Sto. Domingo Public Safety Officer, volunteer firefighters, and the QC Veterinary Response Team, the dog is now SAFE! 🙏

He is currently under the care of the Quezon City Veterinary Department, where he has received treatment and remains under observation.

This is what compassion and collaboration can do. Thank you to everyone who reported, shared, and helped make this rescue possible!

Every life matters. Every effort counts. 🐾
