Sa bawat gunita natin sa ating mga β€œPambansang Bayani”, na nag-alay ng lahat para sa ating kalayaan, huwag nating kalimutan ang isa pang uri ng bayani; ang mga β€œbayaning hindi nakikita, ngunit nararamdaman sa bawat bagong pintig ng buhay.”

Ang tunay na bayani ay walang hinihintay na kapalit at hindi pumipili ng pagsisilbihan. Ang kabayanihan ay para sa sambayanan, hindi lamang para sa iilan. At ngayon, higit kailanman, tinatawag tayo sa isang mas mataas na uri ng β€œbayanihan”: ang kasunduan at paguunawaan ng pamilya para sa organ donation.

Dahil ang tunay na kabayanihan ay walang kapa. Ito ay nanggagaling sa pinakamalalim na β€œaltruismo”; ang pagpiling magbigay ng "Regalo ng Buhay" sa gitna ng sarili natin na pinakamabigat na dalamhati. Ito ay isang diwa ng pagmamalasakit na nagmumula sa pag-unawa, na bagamat tayo ay dumaranas din ng matinding hamon, kaya nating makiramay at tumulong sa mas higit pang nangangailangan.

Sa bawat pamilyang nagdedesisyong selyuhan ang pagkakaisang sumang-ayon sa organ donation, kayo ay tumitindig. Hindi lamang para sa inyong mahal sa buhay na yumao, kundi para sa isang estranghero na dumadalanging dugtungan ang kanyang buhay. Ito ang kapangyarihan ng pagmamahal na kayang higitan ang kamatayan.

Tumindig ka. Hayaang ang iyong pagmamahal ay maging pamana. Pag-usapan ang organ donation sa iyong pamilya ngayon. Maging isang bayani, hindi lamang sa pangalan, kundi sa diwa at gawa.

Sa ating mga mahal na β€œdeceased organ donors”, mabuhay ang inyong sakripisyo. Mananatili kayong buhay sa aming mga puso at sa buhay na inyong idinugtong.

ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTPONEMENT OF THE 6TH PRE-TRANSPLANT ORIENTATION

In view of severe weather conditions and inclement weather advisories across regions, the 6th Pre-Transplant Orientation (PTO 2026) originally scheduled for August 18, 2026 (Tuesday) at the Dr. Enrique T. Ona Auditorium is POSTPONED until further notice.

Ang inyong kaligtasan ang aming nangungunang prayoridad; lalo na para sa ating mga patient heroes, donors, at pamilyang maglalakbay pa mula sa malalayong lalawigan. Refraining from hazardous travel ensures we protect the very lives we serve to care for.

What to keep in mind:

New Schedule: A updated date for the orientation will be announced as soon as weather conditions improve and administrative clearances are finalized.

Pre-Registration: All existing registrations will remain valid once the new date is confirmed.
