PUBLIC ADVISORY | In observance of the 34th National Family Week and pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136 (Office of the President), RACCO NCR shall observe the following work arrangement on Monday, September 28:

Morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): RACCO NCR personnel will work remotely (WFH) to avoid transportation delays and ensure uninterrupted public service.

Afternoon (Starting at 1:00 PM): Work is officially suspended.

Regular onsite office operations will resume on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

We are proud to share that RACCO NCR has successfully facilitated the reunion of an intercountry adoptee with her biological family after 26 years.

Juana (not her real name), who joined her adoptive family in the Netherlands at age four, returned to the Philippines 26 years later to reconnect with her biological mother and family.

In this moving moment, Juana’s two mothers expressed their gratitude and appreciation for one another. This reunion proves that adoption doesn't divide love, it expands it, and that a family's love stays with us wherever we go.

The NACC has a post-adoption services for adult adoptees who wish to trace their roots, rediscover their past, and strengthen their sense of identity.

LOOK: The RACCO NCR Foster Care Support Group gathered on September 12 for a sharing session. Facilitated by the RACCO NCR Foster Care Unit, foster parents came together in a safe space to share their personal journeys, challenges, and success stories.

Moving forward, these support sessions will be held regularly to help foster parents navigate the responsibilities of parenthood, focusing on effective and positive parenting.

| Kumustahan and Technical Assistance at Parenting Foundation of the Philippines

The Regional Alternative Child Care Office – National Capital Region (RACCO NCR) held a Kumustahan, Monitoring, and Technical Assistance session with the child placing agency on September 10, 2026.

As one of the agency's regular case management activities, the session aimed to review and monitor cases being handled by accredited CPAs while providing guidance on processes such as certifying children as legally available for adoption and ensuring the overall wellbeing of the children under their care.

We sincerely thank Parenting Foundation of the Philippines for their continued support and cooperation in these efforts.
