Brigada Eskwela in collaboration with Eagles Club NCR 115

Malabon City, Philippines – In the spirit of community service and educational support, the Hinirang Elite Balikatan Eagles Club NCR 115, led by Regional Governor Mr. Philip Lamigo, joined forces with 3rd Civil-Military Operations “Kasamahan” Company, 11CMOBn headed by 2lt Rowena P Espartero, CMOSBn personnel led by MSg Reynaldo Y Gruta in conducting a meaningful Brigada Eskwela activity at Malabon Elementary School, under the leadership of Dr. Rosela Q. Abude, School Principal.

The activity aimed to provide assistance to learners as they prepare for the opening of classes. School supplies and essential goods were distributed to students to help ease the burden on families and ensure that children are equipped with the necessary materials for their education.

In addition to the distribution of school supplies, a feeding program was conducted to promote the health and well-being of the students. The initiative benefited approximately 100 students, providing them with nutritious meals and fostering a positive learning environment.

Dr. Rosela Q. Abude likewise conveyed her appreciation to the Hinirang Elite Balikatan Eagles Club NCR 115, 11CMOBn and CMOSBn personnel for their generosity and commitment to the welfare of the school's learners. She noted that such initiatives inspire students and reinforce the value of community involvement in education.

11CMOBn Personnel Earn Gawad sa Kaunlaran Honors for CSP Excellence

QUEZON CITY – CSP White Area Operations of the 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army (PA), were recognized during the Flag Raising Ceremony for their exemplary achievements and valuable contributions that earned them the awarding of Gawad sa Kaunlaran Award, one of the distinguished awards conferred by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for meritorious service and significant contributions to nation-building and non-combat endeavors.

The recognition was awarded to the Bn’s personnel headed by LTC Deodelyn A. Blas, PA, Commanding Officer of 11CMOBn; for the unit’s dedication, commitment, and outstanding performance in the implementation of the Community Support Program (CSP). Their efforts significantly contributed to strengthening collaboration with local government units, stakeholders, and communities, while promoting peace, development, and public awareness initiatives in their respective areas of responsibility.

NCRCOM Commander, MGen Gregorio B. Hernandez Jr. PN (M), led the awarding to the awardees for their invaluable contributions that enhanced community participation, addressed local concerns, and supported the government’s whole-of-nation approach in sustaining peace and development.

The recognition serves as an inspiration to all personnel of the battalion to continue striving for excellence in service and to remain steadfast in supporting the AFP’s mission of promoting peace, security, and progress for the Filipino people.

The 11CMOBn remains committed to delivering meaningful programs and initiatives that strengthen the partnership between the military and the communities it serves while upholding the highest standards of public service.

From the halls of learning to the service of the nation, Lt. Gen. Antonio G. Nafarrete comes home to his alma mater to ignite leadership, excellence, and patriotism among tomorrow's leaders and nation-builders.

Fondly called "Toto" by those close to him, Lt. Gen. Nafarrete is a proud member of West Visayas State University Laboratory High School Class of 1986. Today, he stands as the 67th Commanding General of the Philippine Army and a full-blooded Scout Ranger. He has led troops in every major mission across the archipelago, pioneered peace-building programs that brought displaced families back to their homes, and now leads the 110,000-strong Philippine Army under a clear and powerful leadership mantra: "Our People is Our Strength."

True to WVSU's motto "Where Excellence is a Tradition", Lt. Gen. Nafarrete is transforming the Philippine Army into a formidable fighting force guided by unyielding excellence and unwavering service to the nation.

KAUGNAYAN Troops Sharpen Life-Saving Skills in BERC Training with MMDA

QUEZON CITY – Personnel from the 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army (PA), under the operational control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), actively participated in the Basic Emergency Response Course (BERC) CY 2026 conducted in coordination with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) from 26 to 28 May 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall, NCRCOM, AFP, Quezon City.

The three-day capability enhancement training aimed to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge, practical skills, and operational competencies necessary for effective emergency response and patient care operations. The course covered Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), first aid, patient assessment, bleeding control, splinting, evacuation procedures, and rescue operations.

The training also included lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practical exercises, and simulation activities designed to strengthen teamwork, leadership, interoperability, and decision-making during emergency situations and disaster response operations.

The conduct of BERC CY 2026 highlights the continuing commitment of NCRCOM and participating units to enhance disaster preparedness and operational readiness, ensuring that personnel are capable of delivering immediate and effective emergency response services in times of crisis.

Troops Conduct Simultaneous Eid al-Adha Beef-Sharing Activities Across NCR

QUEZON CITY – In celebration of Eid al-Adha Mubarak, the 11th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army, under the operational control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), conducted simultaneous Beef-Sharing Activities in Quezon City, Navotas City, and Malabon City on 28 May 2026.

The initiative was led by the Headquarters Service “Kasangga” Company (HSC), 1st Civil-Military Operations Company (1CMOC), and 3rd Civil-Military Operations “Kasamahan” Company (3CMOC), in partnership with local Muslim community leaders and partner organizations.

In Payatas, Quezon City, HSC distributed 200 beef packs to families, while 1CMOC conducted similar activities in Quezon City and Navotas City with the support of the Australian Relief Organizations (ARO) and ICAD Foundation, Inc. The 3CMOC also distributed beef portions at the Malabon Complex Center.

The activities aimed to promote compassion, unity, and cultural understanding while strengthening ties between the military and local communities. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided.

The 11CMOBn reaffirmed its commitment to continue community-focused and humanitarian initiatives that foster peace, goodwill, and solidarity across diverse communities.

11CMOBN SUPPORTS BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 IN SAGAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

PASIG CITY — The 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army (PA), under the operational control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Sagad Elementary School, J. Feliciano Street, Barangay Sagad, Pasig City on 27 May 2026.

The participation of the 11CMOBn aimed to provide manpower assistance in support of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 initiative, contributing to the preparation and improvement of classrooms and school facilities in time for the upcoming school year.

Through the activity, the unit demonstrated its continued commitment to community support and partnership with the education sector, reinforcing the importance of collaborative efforts between the military and local stakeholders in promoting safe and conducive learning environments for students.

The 11CMOBn remains steadfast in its commitment to support similar civic engagement activities in line with its mandate of Civil-Military Operations.

11CMO BATTALION HOLDS DONNING OF RANKS AND RECOGNITION OF 2ND QUARTER BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS

QUEZON CITY — The 11th Civil-Military Operations “Kaugnayan” Battalion (11CMOBn), Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), Philippine Army (PA) conducted the Donning of Ranks and Recognition of Birthday Celebrants at the Kaugnayan Lounge, Headquarters, 11CMOBn, Camp Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City on 27 May 2026.

The activity was led by Lt. Col. Deodelyn A. Blas, the Commanding Officer of 11CMOBn, CMOR, PA, who personally officiated the donning of ranks for personnel who recently received rank readjustments and recognition for the 2nd Quarter 2026 birthday celebrants.

In her message, Lt. Col. Blas emphasized that every promotion carries greater responsibility and accountability. She reminded the newly promoted personnel that as their rank increases, the margin for mistakes becomes smaller, while the expectations and responsibilities entrusted to them continue to grow.

She also conveyed her message to the birthday celebrants, encouraging them not only to “grow older” but to “grow wiser” as they continue their service and personal journey.

The ceremony highlighted the Battalion’s commitment to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and personal milestones of its personnel, while strengthening camaraderie and morale within the unit.
