The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FISHCORE) Project is looking for a ๐ง๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฃ๐ฃ๐ข๐ฅ๐ง ๐ฆ๐ง๐๐๐.
The ๐๐ถ๐๐ต๐๐ผ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ will be the Philippine government's platform for implementing the new governance scheme, which divides the entire countryโs territorial waters, inclusive of inland waters and exclusive economic zone (EEZ), into 12 fisheries management areas (FMAs) based on stock distribution and the structure of fisheries and administrative divisions.

- Graduate of Bachelorโs Degree in Fisheries or any equivalent degree;
- With Masterโs Degree in Fisheries or other relevant field/discipline is an advantage;
- With 8 hours of relevant trainings;
- With at least 2 years of verifiable relevant experience (fisheries management, coastal resource management, and ecosystem-based management);
- Preferably with experience in international organizations or foreign-assisted projects/grants

and Institutions
๐๐๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
a. Assist the Component Lead/ Technical Assistant in the implementation of the activities under the Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency (FishCoRe) Project, Component: 1: Fisheries and Coastal Resilient Resource Planning and Management (FishCRRM), Sub-component 1.1. Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management Planning and Institutions;
b. Carry out tasks with regard to the formulation and review of the Fisheries Management Area Framework Plan (FMA FP), Fisheries Management Plan (FMP), and Policy studies;
c. Carry out field missions to FMA 6 and FMA 9 to assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of fisheries data in support of the deliverables of Sub-component 1.1;
d. Consolidate reports from FishCoRe Regional Project Implementation Unit (RPIU) and FMA Coordinating Unit (FCU);
e. Provides support and assistance in the conduct of meetings, training, planning workshops, and other related activities under Component 1;
f. Assist in the drafting or preparing technical reports, communications/documentation/minutes of meetings, relative to Component 1, Sub component 1.1. related activities;
g. Performs such other related functions as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor.
