Historical Background

The proposition to declare territorial and political subdivision of Quezon City, autonomous in form in order to fully developed as a self reliant community, was formulated by then Mayor Norberto Amoranto. Acting on the issue, the Quezon City Council delineated political subdivisions particularly in the Project 4 area. The area was given the name Barangay Milagrosa, in honor

Barangay Milagrosa’s commitment to safety remains a top priority as the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) successfully conducted its Second Quarter Meeting for 2026 led by Punong Barangay Andrew Cuizon and BDRRMC Vice Chairperson Kagawad Abraham β€œBam” Valle.

The council discussed the accomplishments for the 1st Quarter of the year and to further elevate the community’s safety standards, the council officially moved to procure additional rescue equipment, essential medical supplies and relief goods. These upgrades are designed to ensure that the barangay remains swift and efficient in its response to any emergency or natural hazard. Barangay Milagrosa continues to lead the way in building a disaster-resilient future for all its residents.

The Quezon City Housing Community Development and Resettlement Department (QCHCDRD) and Barangay Milagrosa Committee on Housing and Urban Poor led by PB Andrew Cuizon, Kgd. Abraham Bam Valle and EX-O B**g Paras conducted a Census Survey within Belarmino Oval Compound.

The Census activity is part of data-gathering process to determine the exact number of structures and families in the said area.

The members of Barangay Milagrosa Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and the Barangay Peace and Order Council (BPOC) has conducted the joint monthly meeting led by Punong Barangay Andrew Cuizon and Kagawad Abraham β€œBam” Valle, Committee Chairman on Peace and Order.

The body discussed the accomplishements of BADAC and BPOC for the month of April and the upcoming programs including the strict implementation of Barangay Milagrosa Traffic Management Plan. Aside from this, the body tackled the peace and order situation in the barangay to enaure the safety and protection of the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the QCPD Station 8 personnel, QCADAAC representative, CSO officers, and the Barangay Council for their unwavering dedication, cooperation, and continued support throughout the year.
