The Bureau of Muslim Settlements together with the Sagip Kapamilya of ABS-CBN and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sponsored relief distribution in Baseco, Manila, Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Montalban Rizal and Tumana, Marikina for Typhoon Maring Victims.

The Bureau of Muslim Settlements staff assisted in the distribution of 1,000 packs of relief goods last August 25, 2013 in the said Muslim areas.

The group went to Baseco, Manila and Distributed 680 packs of goods. The goods are not enough considering there are 1,700 families affected in that area. At 3:00 pm the group proceeded to Tumana, Marikina wherein 200 families are waiting. Since it is already late, and Montalban is not part of AFP jurisdiction, only BMS staff proceeded to Montalban. We finished the entirely distribution at 11:00pm.
