Through the National Youth Commission of the Philippines and in conjunction with Malaysia Chairmanship of ASEAN 2025. The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) will be organizing ASEAN Youth Leadership (AYLC) 2025 under the theme “Next-Gen Leadership: Leading with Inclusivity and Sustainability” that highlights the importance of cultivating young leaders with strong values and future-ready skills, focusing on integrity, inclusive and sustainable impact in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The programme seeks to equip participants with the essential competencies for cross-cultural collaboration and global leadership roles through experiential learning, digital literacy, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

✅Qualifications of Youth Delegates:
- Filipino citizen currently residing in the Philippines;
- Single, 18-30 years old;
- Applicants must have qualifications:
• Young leader from a non-governmental organization
• Young leader from the corporate sector
• Student leader who advocates Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- YORP members are welcome to apply;
- Has a good command of written and spoken English;
- Has a valid passport;
- Vaccinated with anti-COVID vaccine with 1 booster shot;
- Must be able to attend & participate during the pre-departure orientation and program proper.

📝Requirements:

2. Scanned copy of PSA-issued birth certificate (upload via Google form)

5. Certification from organization/ school/ employer related to the field of education and peacebuilding
6. Updated Curriculum Vitae (upload via Google form)

• Roundtrip airfare on a reimbursement basis (maximum claimable amount: MYR 1,000 per participant);
• Accommodation and Meals during the program; and
• Domestic transportation during the stay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

📢 [PRE-REGISTRATION] CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS | 2025 PYDP Festival - KABAYANI and LYDC Assembly

By the virtue of Republic Act No. 11913, an act declaring August 12 of every year as National Youth Day, the National Youth Commission will conduct the "2025 PYDP Festival: KABAYANI, LYDC Assembly and Awarding Program", a gathering of youth representatives from Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP)-registered organizations, National Youth Commission (NYC) - registered volunteers, and Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs) across the Philippines.

This multi-faceted event aims to advocate volunteerism, strengthen leadership knowledge, foster active citizenship, build strong camaraderie among different youth sectors, and recognize youth organizations and volunteers for their exemplary contributions to the youth sector, aligned with the centers of participation outlined in the Philippine Youth Development Plan. 🙌🇵🇭

This call for applications is for interested youth participants.

✅ Qualifications of Participants:
1. Filipino citizen aged 15 to 30 years old
2. Must be any of the following:
- A member of a YORP-registered organization
- A registered volunteer under the NYVP
- A member of their respective LYDCs

👉Expenses: The National Youth Commission shall shoulder the participant’s accommodation and meals for the duration of the program. Selected youth participants shall shoulder their own round-trip transportation expenses from their residence to the venue and back, as well as other incidental expenses.

The National Youth Commission (NYC), through an advisory, strongly encourages all eligible youth, particularly members of the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) and National Youth Volunteers Program (NYVP), to register for Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) membership in preparation for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

The advisory highlights the role of youth in shaping local governance and emphasizes the importance of their active participation in the electoral process.

"The voice of the youth is crucial in building strong and responsive communities," stated NYC Chairperson and CEO USec. Joseph Francisco Ortega, "We urge all our Filipino youth, especially our dedicated YORP and NYVP members, to seize this opportunity to register and make their voices heard in the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections. Your participation is vital for the future of our barangays and for youth representation."

- Who should register: All youth aged 15 to 30 years old who have not yet registered in any previous elections.

⦁ Participants of NYC-coordinated international programs from until July 12, 2024 up to the present whose airfare was shouldered by the participants and whose accommodation and meals were paid for by the organizer;
⦁ Previous NYC International Programs Beneficiaries who have not submitted or accomplished the required post-program obligations or volunteer work hours; and
⦁ Incomplete requirements (follow up requirements would not be entertained once passed deadline.)
