Sleeping late and trying to learn to swim the next day will likely result in a frustrating and less effective learning experience due to fatigue, poor coordination, and lower mental alertness. Swimming is a full-body workout that requires significant energy and focus, which are both diminished by sleep deprivation.
Here is what would likely happen:
Quicker Fatigue: You will feel tired much faster than usual. Because swimming engages almost every major muscle group, a tired body runs out of energy (glycogen) faster.
Difficulty Learning Motor Skills: Swimming involves complex movements. Lack of sleep impairs the brain's ability to coordinate these movements, making it harder to learn proper technique, such as the timing of strokes and breathing.
Reduced Focus and Slower Reaction Times: Your attention span will be shorter, and your reaction times will be slower, which can make it hard to focus on instructor feedback or manage breathing.
Increased Perceived Effort: The workout will feel much harder than it actually is, making it difficult to push yourself, which may cause you to feel discouraged.
Increased Safety Risk: Due to slower reaction times and reduced coordination, the risk of fatigue-related accidents or muscle cramps increases.
Patio Isabel Swimming Pool
We have a 25 x 13 meter, five lane swimming pool with a depth of 4-6-4 feet and a round kiddie pool. Room occupancy is suspended until further notice.
Our hostel located across the street from the swimming pool has twelve family rooms that can accommodate a maximum of four (4) persons with optional two extra single beds and two single room that accommodates two (2) persons with an optional single bed. All rooms have their own bathroom (with hot/cold shower), air-conditioning, a television, an electric kettle, and a mini-fridge.
Why Dri-fit clothing is not allowed as swimwear:
Dri-fit clothing is generally not allowed as swimwear because it is designed for land-based athletic activity rather than water. It becomes heavy and baggy when soaked, causing drag that hinders swimming and presents safety risks. Furthermore, it can shed fibers that clog filtration systems, and the fabric degrades in chlorine or salt. Water.
• Safety and Hygiene: Dri-fit fabric can become cumbersome when wet and unlike proper swimwear, it can trap bacteria, impacting pool hygiene.
• Water Management: The material can become heavy, increasing the risk of accidents.
• Filtration System Damage: The fabric can release lint that clogs the pool’s filter.
• Fabric Damage: Regular immersion in salt or chlorine water breaks down the material’s integrity.

Why Can’ I swim in my clothes?
Any “colored” or “dyed” material (unless specifically made for swimming) can bleed into the pool affecting water chemistry and balance. (This is also a reason for turbidity in pool.)
Cotton and similar materials can absorb the chemicals in the water, causing the water to become less effective at maintaining the proper chemical balance or may cloud the water.
Street clothes can be dirty and will add dirt to the pool water. They can transport airborne contaminants and f***l matter, which will contaminate the pool water.
Cotton can also break down the water and clog the filters.
Swimsuit material is generally made of Lycra and Nylon, which are non-absorbent materials for swimming and are the best fabrics for proper swim attire and do not weigh down swimmers in the water.
