S.A.G.I.P Save a Life With CPR
The Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center joins the nation in celebrating the National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Day this 17 July 2025 in accordance to Proclamation No. 511. It is aimed at raising awareness about the importance of learning cardiopulmonary resuscitation and empowering all citizens with the skills to save lives during cardiac or respiratory emergencies.
This year’s theme, adapted from the Philippine Heart Association (PHA), celebrates teamwork in saving lives: “First Responder Team, sa CPR Win na Win!” Alam mo ba? 🤔 Ang Sudden Cardiac Arrest ay isa sa mga pangunahing sanhi ng kamatayan sa mundo. 80% ng out-of-hospitals cardiac arrests ay nangyayari sa bahay kung saan pamilya ang unang nakasasaksi.
Ngayong National CPR Day, matuto mag CPR! Sa tamang kaalaman, maaring makapag ligtas ng buhay! Tandaan ang S.A.G.I.P:
S – Survey the scene and check the situation 👀
A – Assess the victim 🧑⚕️
G – Get help. Call 911 or your local emergency hotline. 📲
I – Initiate Compression💓
P – Place Automated External Defibrillator (AED) pads if available⚡

🛑Mga Dapat Malaman Tungkol sa MPOX.
Ang Monkeypox o MPOX ito ay isang sakit na dulot ng mpox virus na may mga sintomas na kahalintulad sa small pox.
🛑Maaring maipasa ang Mpox sa pamamagitan ng:
❌ Skin-to-Skin Contact on direktang contact sa pantal o sugat ng may sakit;
❌ Paghalik sa parte ng katawan ng tao;
❌ Pakikipag-talik;
❌ Respiratory droplets mula sa pag - ubo o bahing at ❌ Paghawak sa mga kontaminadong bagay (kobre-kama, tualya, gadgets at iba pa)
🛑KARANIWANG SINTOMAS NG MPOX:
✅Lagnat;
✅Panginginig;
✅Pag-ubo;
✅Pananakit ng ulo; ✅Marinding pagkapagod; ✅Baradong Ilong; ✅Pananakit ng lalamunan; at ✅Pantal sa mukhang pimples, maliliit na paltos sa katawan.
🛑PAANO MAIIWASAN ANG MPOX:
✅ Magsuot ng long-sleeves at pantalon upang matakpan ang balat ✅ Magsuot ng Facemask;
✅ Panatiliing Malinis at maghugas ng kamay; ✅ Iwasang makipagsiksikan;
✅ Linisin at i-disinfect ang mga gamit at paligid
Ligtas ang may alam, Protektahan ang sarili laban sa Mpox.

🚨📢‼️The Public Health Service Center Actively monitored the COVID-19 trends within the AFP. Including the recently reported by the Department of Health in the increasing number of cases in specific areas of Southeast Asia.
🟠 In light of the recent Covid-19 cases trends, the PHSC would like to remind everyone to take preventive measures against COVID-19. We encourage that individuals who have experiencing any respiratory symptoms, to seek medical consultation.
🟠 Your prompt action and cooperation are vital in protecting not only your health but also the well-being of our entire community.
🟠PHSC reiterates the importance of preventive measures to decrease the risk of acquiring COVID-19. These Includes:
✅Wearing of Face mask;
✅Observe Proper Hand washing;
